If Swan/Saab really intends suing GL for damages -and if what VM asserts is supported by evidence- then this, added to that 11 MSEK mining claim against GL- could well mean the end of GL’s law firm. Maybe not financially, law firms are generally insured against such claims, but certainly in terms of professional viability. Botching up Sweden’s biggest recontruction ever is no recommendation in GL’s chosen field. Money in the bank for that other reorg lawyer, Abjornsson.

It seems that GL made it a very profitable job for himself. Spending excessive amounts of money on himself for doing the wrong thing. And why hire an external PR-firm when there is a very good team on site? I haven’t seen anything coming from GL that could justify hiring an external party for communication.

SweGov tried playing the game of chicken with GM and lost big time. It is quite believable that Lofalk carries out SweGov’s agenda in this. The only anomaly in this is Anders Borg’s refusal to meet with Geely and Lofalk. Had he met with them, the connection would perhaps be too obvious for even the Swedish reporters to ignore..?

Transparency GL/AB/FR? Vaalirahoitusta?

I have a vague memory of reading somewhere that Geely’s mr. Li Shufu was supposed to meet with mr. Borg as well but that Borg didn’t show up. And that Li Shufu wasn’t pleased with that. But I just can’t retrace the story. Maybe someone else’s memory (or Google talent) is better…
