Dear Small craft Owner!
I am a second year Estonian Maritime Academy and Tallinn University of Technology student of Master Studies and at the moment I am writing the Master Thesis on “The analysis of visitation of Estonian marinas and recommendations to improve attractiveness of them“.
Therefore I am carrying out a questionnaire among Estonian, Finnish and Swedish small craft owners to reach to the causes why a significant amount of craft owners do not visit Estonian marinas. I also want to get evaluation from sailors who have visited Estonian marinas and used services provided there.
In addition, I will try to make suggestions to improve attractiveness of Estonian marinas and thereby to increase efficiency of them which, in turn, affect sea tourism and development of sailing in Estonia as well as in neighbor countries.

How come you´re already writing master´s thesis if you have studied only for two years..?

Hi,
I studied 4 years in university and got a degree in tertiary education (university degree) based on a higher vocational training. And for now I have studied on Master's level for two years and I will get a Master degree in June.

En osaa arvioida, kuinka paljon kysymyksiin vastaaminen oikeasti vaikuttaa satamien kehittämiseen, mutta todennäköisesti tässä on kuitenkin parempi vaikutuskanava kuin jupiseminen laituriparlamentissa. I hope I understood You correctly because I can´t speak Finnish.
Actually, it seems that results of questionnaire reflect the reality and answers are quite informative. Thanks to many respondents it will be possible to make effective suggestions to improve development of Estonian marinas and as You mentioned the results and suggestions should be definitely presented to the decision-makers. You asked, how I will do it? I have some opportunities but it is too early to talk about them at the moment.

you have to put more gravel at sea. now estonia is to far. i think about 20km might be ok for a distance.
