8: The Spoils of War
59 And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape.
60 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them. Whatsoever ye spend in the way of Allah it will be repaid to you in full, and ye will not be wronged.
?????" Don't let the disbelievers think they can escape. They are your enemy and the enemy of Allah."
8. Al-Anfâl
59. And let not those who disbelieve think that they can outstrip (escape from the punishment). Verily, they will never be able to save themselves (from Allâh's Punishment).
60. And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery, etc.) to threaten the enemy of Allâh and your enemy, and others besides whom, you may not know but whom Allâh does know. And whatever you shall spend in the Cause of Allâh shall be repaid unto you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.
8 AL-ANFÂL (Sotasaaliin suura)
59. Äläkä salli uskottomien ajatella pääsevänsä voitolle. Eivät he osaansa vältä.
60. Ja varustakaa (muslimit) heitä vastaan niin suuri sotavoima ja hyvin ravittuja ratsuja kuin vain voitte, säikyttääksenne siten sekä Jumalan vastustajat että omat vihollisenne ja myöskin muut, joita ette tunne, mutta jotka Jumala tuntee. Ja mitä kulutattekin Jumalan tiellä ja asialla, se korvataan teille täydelleen, eikä teille tule mitään vääryyttä tapahtumaan.
