Solar3D's (NASDAQ:SLTD) SUNworks solar installation unit (acquired in 2013) had March residential sales of more than $2.1M (said to be a new record), with an average contract size of $32K.
Solar3D declares the figures highlight SUNworks' expanding footprint within California and Nevada. 23 of the unit's 69 projects were referred through its PowerPay Plan online portal. For reference, SUNworks installed "over 300" systems over the whole of 2014.
The microcap's shares have broken a downtrend seen since the posting of its 2014 results on March 31. Solar3D has been on a roller-coaster ride since joining the Nasdaq in February.

Good morning.

While the markets have been in turmoil lately, it has been business as usual at Solar3D.

Our focus is on building a quality business, firm in the belief that value follows performance. Solar3D is coming off two solid quarters, and we are working on building further gains on top of that. During the second quarter, we achieved revenues of $11.0 million, an increase of 47% over last year, and a 94% sequential increase from the prior quarter. Our sales backlog also jumped 930% year-over-year to $22.7 million, and we anticipate that most of this backlog to be completed by the end of the year. Furthermore, 2015 sales have not stopped or slowed as we are experiencing record new sales in residential solar as well as several large and exciting new contracts in our commercial sales. As a result, we believe that we are on target to meet or exceed the guidance for $40 to 45 million as our full year revenues for 2015, independent of new acquisitions or large new commercial contracts to come.

Much of Solar3D’s growth was a result of accretive acquisitions, as well as organic growth achieved by the newly acquired subsidiaries. We possess a solid cash position and continue to strengthen our presence by pursuing strategic acquisitions that fuel growth through consolidation within a highly fragmented market. Solar3D Closes the Acquisiton of Elite Solar

Roseville, CA – December 1, 2015 – Solar3D, Inc. Sunworks Announces Over $9 Million in Contracts With Sacramento-Area Municipalities and Public Works Divisions


ROSEVILLE, CA, Mar 08, 2016 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Sunworks, Inc. SUNW, 1.71% a provider of solar power solutions, announced today that it has secured approximately $9.4 million in contracts with multiple cities and schools in the Northern California region to establish long term, cost saving solar energy solutions. These awards support the company's 2016 outlook for more than $100 million in annual revenues.

With a population of approximately 50,000, West Sacramento resides in Yolo County, separated from Sacramento by the Sacramento River. The $3.4 million agreement will provide 943kW of solar solutions across four sites, including car ports and a water storage tank roof. Sunworks' proposed program that stood alone over several other bids, will achieve significant energy cost savings for the City, providing both short term and long term return on investment.

The Oroville Union High School District is located in the rural north valley at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, about seventy miles north of Sacramento, encompassing 723 miles of eastern Butte County. The $2.66 million agreement for a 1MW solar system will reduce energy costs for the school district, resulting in the deployment of financial resources to other areas crucial to education, such as supplies, teachers, and other programs.

The 46-acre campus of the Durham Unified School District encompasses four schools spanning elementary, intermediate, high school, alternative high school, as well as independent study programs. Sunworks was tasked with implementing a solar program that would reduce energy costs while demonstrating sustainability, resulting in a $1.26 million agreement for a 516kW ground mount solar array. Of the estimated $13.6 million in energy costs the district expects to save, Superintendent Len Foreman said, "we are committed to long-term energy solutions that reduce the carbon footprint in this region, as well as energy costs. We are pleased and excited to work with a local Company that possesses a reputation for results."

The Napa Valley Unified School District serves the communities of American Canyon, Napa City and Yountville and is comprised of more than 30 schools with more than 18,000 students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through Grade 12. The $1.2 million agreement will provide single axis trackers for carports, establishing long-term cost savings for the school district while reducing its carbon footprint.
