The Future Is Bright For WGI Members

Last week in London, WGI Chairman Greg Kennedy assembled from around the world all members of senior management and invited all six World Leaders to a meeting that was to prove monumental in its importance. There had been a number of rumours floating around the media and Greg was keen to provide the relevant information to stop the rumour mills in the media and in the Members forums.

Greg began his address to the meeting by saying that he had always wanted to run the business against a backdrop of transparency but that desire had been frustrated by media accusations and legal challenges to WGI. Nonetheless, he felt maybe the time was right for the business to enter a new era and capitalise on the success of the past and build on it to the future.

Greg announced that for a while he has been considering the possibility of a flotation or a trade sale of WGI, but for a variety of reasons circumstances seemed to conspire against him. Nonetheless, six months ago he initiated provisional dialogue with a number of professional advisers who informed him that there was a huge appetite for gaming stock and therefore he should consider its possibility seriously. In the last number of months as those discussions have continued it has become increasingly apparent to Greg that the possibility of a flotation or trade sale in this investment climate might be too good an opportunity to pass up.

Greg informed the meeting that the most significant element in a decision to embark on this route was timing. Greg pointed out that all involved in the process were working hard to develop the most efficient and rewarding business structure for the future. This would benefit ALL WGI stakeholders. There were however a number of matters that had to be dealt with prior to this decision being made.

These matters revolved around the business becoming "cleaner", more legally compliant, and a more responsible corporate citizen. Greg informed the meeting that it his opinion, and one which is backed up by professional advisers, that because of the negative publicity directed at him personally part of this process would involve him taking a back seat in WGI. Greg stated that it was his intention to headhunt directly senior executives from the Multi-Level Marketing and gaming industries. This would inevitably lead to a restructuring of the business at the most senior level.

Furthermore as evidence of greater compliance to potential investors and in response to the advice of professionals, Greg announced that trading on the SMG (Stock Market Game) would be formally suspended from midnight on 16th January 2005 until further notice. It is Greg's intention that the percentage of "equity" held by the Members in the SMG will then be held pro-rata in accordance with Members' existing interest under a separate arrangement to be dealt with in the future as part of the restructuring process.

Important note: Members should be aware that there are very strict laws governing what they, WGI Corporate, Greg Kennedy and World Leaders can and cannot say about the plans for restructuring the WGI business, and in particular plans for Member involvement in the restructure process. WGI is committed to releasing as much information as it legally can as soon as it becomes available. Furthermore, WGI cannot permit Members and third parties to make representations regarding various proposals and must effectively prohibit any Member communications on this issue. WGI apologises that it is unable to provide any further information at this time due to the stringent regulatory environment but is firmly of the view that Members will ultimately benefit from the process that is being considered.

It is forecast that the business review will require an evaluation period of roughly six to twelve months in order that management and advisers will be able to effectively and diligently appraise all options available to the business. There will be an ongoing commitment to Members to communicate all developments in this regard within the weekly news update which commenced a month ago

As part of the closure of the SMG and with immediate effect no additional wire transfer requests will be accepted for a period of 4 weeks to ensure a smooth transition to a new payment solution. All outstanding wire transfers received by midnight on the 14th December 2004 will be paid and confidence is high that almost all will be paid by Christmas. All RMR accrued on the buying and selling of SMG stock between today and the closure of the SMG will of course be honoured and will be paid as normal into the My Account. The 30% rule in which all RMR accrued would have to be placed in the SMG will of course be removed from the date of SMG closure.

The Pay2 card replacement is undergoing final beta testing and will be live and available to use on the site very shortly. Members will receive their cash much quicker through the card pay out mechanism than the wire transfer option and Members are respectfully requested to desist from making additional wire transfer requests at this time.

Greg Kennedy also announced that the launch of the much anticipated free Membership or "World Member" would be available next week. The opportunities available to existing Members in terms of sponsorship are obvious and it is confidently predicted that "World Member" will reinvigorate the acquisition side of the business. The launch of "World Member" will finally remove the stigma of the "pyramid accusations" that all Members have felt. The launch of this exciting membership level will also greatly assist in ensuring legal compliance in almost every jurisdiction in the world.

Greg stated that after a turbulent year in 2004 he looked forward to 2005 with renewed optimism and renewed vigour. He told the meeting that everyone was aware of the problems the business had suffered but equally there were some extremely positive news.

The business had been hit by a variety of unforeseen issues which had constantly changed the focus of management and had frustrated the objectives of development. However, nevertheless regardless of the issues

1. Media Relations had improved dramatically and continued to do so,
2. Communication with Members had seen a sharp improvement,
3. Multiple Payment in methods were on the verge of launch,
4. Payment Out Methods were on the brink of solution,
5. A number of outstanding legal issues had reached a successful conclusion,
6. Members' Insurance policies would be on the site before the New Year,
7. Members had remained positive and loyal,
8. Activity on the website had remained constant throughout the year.

Greg then concluded his comments with the reminder to one and all assembled that they were fortunate to be working with such a great company whose possibilities as they move forward really are infinite. He congratulated and thanked one and all for their hard work and dedication and commented that he was extremely confident that 2005 is really going to be a vintage year for WGI.
