Ramjet by René Lorin in 1913.[154]
The first helicopter to be powered by a gasturbine (Alouette II), in 1955
Catalytic converter by Eugene Houdry in 1956.[155][156]
Concorde by Aérospatiale and the British Aircraft Corporation (1969)
HDI diesel engine in 1998 by PSA Peugeot Citroën.
Siellä on kaikki: auto, polttomoottori, v8, katalysaattori, rumpu jarrut, perämoottori, helikopteri, polkupyörä, moottoripyörä....lista on loputon. Vetää hiljaiseksi.
Ottokin rakensi Otto-moottorin vasta nähtyään Lenoir-moottorin. Todistettavasti tilasikin sellaisen.

No kyllähän japanilaiset kuitenkin on näppäriä kokoamaan auto ja pikku kätösillään.
Ranskisket on kyllä keksineet paljon.
Veti painavia kuormia.
Otton tiedetään tilanneen itselleen Lenoir-moottorin. Otto, tutkittuaan sitä huolella, keksi lisätä moottoriin puristuksen. Kaiken muun oli Lenoir jo keksinyt. Puristus oli kuitenkin olennainen juttu: hyötysuhde parani paljon.
Tiedättekö muuten kuka keksi ensimmäisen maaefektiauton? Entä ensimmäisen monocoque-rungon? Sama mies joka keksi vesilentokoneet - ks. Voisin C6 Laboratoire Gran Prix
