As my saab-dealer told me yesterday, the
facelifted 9-5 will be presented in Copenhagen in
July. He mentioned a new front and rear bumper,
but more important, the car will get a much
stronger chassis, wich will probably be the
strongest in its class!! That will even improve
handling and comfort. Besides a new electronic 5-
speed automatic transmission will be coming,
which alloudes much higher torque (important also
for the V6-diesel). The Aero-model's engine
increases to 250 hp (even with automatic
transmission...), but it's also available just up
to 310 hp (original saab-chip-tuning). The
headlamps will feature the same technique as the
coming Porsche-models, that means bi-xenon-
lights !! After all, the prices will only raise
about 2 - 3 %, which is quite fair if you think
of all that new technology.

Nyt kun vielä saataisiin Saabeihin neliveto, niin
avot!
Jos hinnat nousevat Tanskassa 2-3%, niin hinnan
kasvu ei pitäisi olla niin suurta Suomessa.
Ruotsalaisessa Auto Mobil -lehdessä oli kerran
lyhyt vertailu Euroopan maista, joissa on
autovero voimassa. Suurimman "suhteisluvun" sai
Tanska, jonka indeksi oli 100. Suomi oli toisena
indeksiluvullaan 79. Eli siitä voi jotenkin nähdä
Suomen ja Tanskan autoverotuksien erot. No joka
tapauksessa toivossa on hyvä elää, että
hinnankorotus jää noin pieneksi.
Ja toivoa sopii myöskin, että nuo Xenon -valot
ovat tehokkaat, sillä Valeon Saabille
valmistamat "normaali" H4 -valot ovat olleet
yhdet markkinoiden tehokkaimmista.
Taitaa euroopan kärkikaarti autoverossa olla
seuraavanlainen
1. Tanska, verollihinta= 3x verotonhinta
2. Suomi, 1.8x verotonhinta
3. Portugali, Hollanti, 1.5x verotonhinta
