Toyota announced yesterday that it was recalling
13,000 Yaris-1000 models in Europe, 6,200 of
which are registered in France. The Japanese car
maker is intending to check screws on the rear
wheels of the vehicles, which may not have been
sufficiently tightened during assembly. Toyota
France is said to have heard of the problem from
a customer who heard banging from the rear of
their car. No serious incident has been reported.

Vanhimmat
kaikki edellinen on totta, mutta muoviosien
surkea laatu lisättävä listaan. Yariksessa mm.
muovista valmistetut oviverhoiluta hajoavat
todella helposti ja ne voi korjata ainoastaan
vaihtamalla kokonaan uusi verhoilu. Hinta n. 3500
mk/ovi. Toyota oli vielä 10-vuotta sitten alan
piireissä kuuluisa auto muoviosien laadusta. Nyt
Tojotien muoviosat ovat todella surkeita,
irtoilevat, naarmuuntuvat ja rikkoutuvat
helposti. Esim. Avensiksen etuistuinten
suojamuovit ovat nykyisin kertakayttökamaa. Ne
eivät kestä pienintäkään kolhaisua. Aiemmin esim.
ovitaskut kestivät huoletta kovaakin arkikäyttöä.
Nyt taskutkin hajoavat yhtä helposti kuin esm.
Volvoissa(liian kova muoviseos) ja Volkkareissa.
Nykyisin vaikuttaa siltä, että Toyota on
murkkuikäisten homojen suunnittelema auto.
