A report from the European Community respiratory health survey (Zureik et al. 2002) suggests that
in patients with asthma, the severity of ymptoms is increased significantly in those with llergic sensitization to outdoor molds (Alternaria and Cladosporium species) and dust mites, but not to pollen or cats.

While there is growing evidence that moisture in buildings is associated with the onset of asthma in children and adults, there is not consensus as to the role of fungi in the initiation of new asthma. In a recent report, the Institute of Medicine noted that there is “inadequate or unsufficient evidence to determine whether an association with presence of mold or other agents) exists” with development of asthma. The report also noted exposure assessment imitations and difficulties in defining specific causative agents (Institute of Medicine 2004).

Eikös tässä ainakin Seuri ja Jaakkola sano, että onneksi kosteusvauriohomeet aiheuttavat astmaa. Eikös tämä Jaakkola ansioitunut työterveyslaitoksella siinä määrin, että pääsi oikein ulkomaille prohofessooriksi. Seurikin on kuulemma päässyt Atrialle eläinlääkäriksi.

makkaratehtaan työterveyslääkäri. Kuopion yliopiston luennot loppuivat. Onneksi makkaratehdas huoli hänet. Aikamoinen arvon alennus, mistähän moinen johtui?
vaikka osa teksteistä on ollut jopa ranskaksi... uskomatonta
englantia. Eihän siinä, niin sanota, että kosteusvauriomikrobit aiheuttaisivat astmaa!
Osaako joku suomentaa sen kolmannen kappaleen, mitä sinä sanotaan? Joku vaikka ttl:n joutilaista lääkäreistä?
Näyttää vissiin siltä, että Seuri ja Jaakkola ovat sitä teoriaa väkisin yrittäneet tyrkyttää maailmalle, mutta sitä ei oltaisi hyväksytty.
