Vastoin yleistä luuloa ja monien naisten odotuksia, taito antaa suuseksiä ei ole synnynnäinen taito miehillä tai lesboilla.
Suuseksin antaminen on kuitenkin opeteltavissa oleva taito. Jos ei itse opeta tai opettele, ei voi ikinä täysin nauttia kaikista sen tarjoamista eduista.
Jokainen nainen on erilainen, joten riippumatta siitä, miten hyvin on osannut antaa suuseksiä joskus aikaisemmassa suhteessa, tulee aina opetella uuden partnerin mieltymyksiä vastaava tekniikka. Naiset eivät voi myöskään vertailla hyväksihavaitsemiaan neuvoja tai vinkkejä, koska heillä jokaisella on omat mieltymyksensä. Tähän on olemassa sekä psykologisia ja fyysisiä syitä.
Vaikka kaikki varmasti haluaisivatkin lukea täydellisen yksityiskohtaisen "Miten-homma-hoidetaan"-oppaan, on mahdotonta luoda opus, jolla voisi tyydyttää jokaisen naisen. Parhaimmillaankin voidaan antaa vain ideoita ja perusvinkkejä. Paras tapa ssaada uusia ideoita on kenties yrittää etsiä ja löytää naisten omia kokemuksia, mutta loppujen lopuksi jokainen nainen itse on se ainoa ja paras kertomaan, mikä juuri hänelle nautinnollista ja toimii parhaiten.
