According to the news of Aamulehti newspaper and YLE News, certain two ministers of Government would have been willing to open the list of the former East German secret police uncovering the spy assistants, in spring 2000.
They are clearly mentioned in the news. But is another of them suspected of having his name on the Stasi list of assistants who the State of Finland protects ?
Obviously with the help of this suspected bluff news Stasi doubts are tried to eliminate in public concerning another of these politicians. The Court of Helsinki has already made the political ruling of concealing the lists, in the case of the Finnish Ambassador, that a plaintiff is not allowed to use the lists although injured party would need them desperately in his impartial trial. “The politician” can rely on the court ruling that nothing could be checked.

For the most part this discussion on the so called Stasi documents is only motivated by evil minds whose only purpose is to throw mud on other politicians or on politicians in general if and where possible. Stasi documents are used as any other means for this.
This should not be forgotten. This kind of chasing other people is part of finnish politics, too, and it will come to an end when certain persons and Stasi are far enough in time, and this theme cannot be used against anyone.
Interesting is, who those are who are willing to use this theme. Their willingness tells a lot about them. They themselves only seem not to understand this at all.
