DC kiropraktikko kertoo

Miksi ei kaikki DC kiropraktikot ole tällaisia?
Kysyin Chirowebistä SI-nivelen ongelmasta, vaikutuksista ja yleisyydestä. Eräs DC vastasi:

Now: as to your questions: Yes, it is a common syndrome, affecting literally everyone around you. Why isn't is better known? I don't have an explanation about that, except to agree with your observation that doctors too often hop right to the point of pain/symptom, ignoring the fact that most problems actually occur on the opposite or oblique corner from the symptom.

It is known by a variety of names: al the ones you names plus Piriformis syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Sciatica, Plantar Fascitis .... etc. One of the problems is that many doctors will look only at one aspect of it .... either beliveing that you won't believe him when he/she shows you the full picture or doesn't yet understand it him/herself or believes that he/she can only treat one or two areas.

I am using the word 'syndrome' as the oblique pelvis (present ANYTIME you find the leg length disparity) will start a cascade of changes that can quietly and slowly continue to expand into the spine, rig cage, cranium, shoulders, knees, feet and even organs thoughout one's lifetime.

Since pain is the last to come (barring trauma) and the first to go, many of the misalignments or misalignment patterns that accumulate from this cascade go unnoticed. Until, that it, a trauma or accident occurs. Then, all too often, symptoms occur that seem out of proportion to the trauma .... because the underlying misaligment patterns had been either ignored or unnoticed. An accident will always take what is there and make it worse.

Pain from the pelvic component can be felt in a variety of places: across the small of the back; an any point in the spine, down the side of either leg; at the hip (the upper side of your leg); in the upper back, under your rib cage, on either side; at the base of the neck, at the base of the skull, in the shoulders, at the TMJ, either side, at the knees, at the feet, with acid reflux, consitipation, immune system dysfunction .... etc, etc., etc.

Your observztion about the leg length difference being appreciated from a 2D rather than a 3D aspect is quite keen. What happens when a pelvis goes on tilt is that one hip joint is pulled superior or upwards. when you then go to the ankle to compare it with the other, it APPEARS that the leg is short ... it isn't, the hip joint has been pulled up towards the top of the body. The body has a 'spiral' nature to it. It will rotate about itself with the pelvis as the core and the sacrum as the fulcrum. But few doctors see/accord or belive this three-dimensional nature.

Yes, any functional scoliosis is due to the tilted sacrum .... when the pelvis is tilted, the sacrum will shift off to one side or the other, requiring the spine to slightly bow or curve in order for the body to keep the head above the pelvis. Otherwise, your cranium would follow the bowing and you'd be walking down the boulevard sideways! ;'-))

Yes, this can be found in almost every child over the age of 1 year .... it begins when that child starts to walk. You know: that stage when they are testing out their 'sea legs', when they don't quite yet have full strength and suddenly land KAWHOMP!on their keister. That pelvis is now out of alignment and the spine has just started its first stage of bowing.

MDs do not recognize this as the AMA, in the l950s & 60s decided to ban chiropractors from practicing. Thanks to the one man who then owned the AMA, a boycott was started using a whisper campaign again chiropractors. Even tho, through the legal system, we defeated the boycott (17 years later)and 50 years have gone by, the bad publicity (or doubt of chiropractic and structural misalignments) continues in the medical community still here in the 2000s.

If / when the allopathic community make you believe that what we do does not exist, then you will allow your body - and it's chronic sacroiliac syndrome - to continue to evolve. The result of an untreated sacroiliac syndrome in the 1 through (approximately) 6th decade adds up to degenerative joint disease or arthritis, among a billion other diseases and dysfunctions I could name.

The bow in the spine leads to immune dysfunctions of all types, abdominal diseases of numberous types(when the pelvis is tilted, everything in the abdomen will be allowed to drift off their normal axis ... into dysfunction), extremity problems of all kinds can develop (this is what sets up ACL tears for example).

If your fulcrum is tilted, what happens to your structure? It is that simple. Except with the body, the misalignements include the power 'wires' of the nervous system. So a tilted pelvis equals a disrupted electrical system .... beginning to make sense?

Thanks for the questions .... hope I answered what you wanted to know.

Eilen olivat vuorossa vyöhyketerapia, magneettinapit, kiropraktiikka ja toisessa ohjelmassa fengshui ja pullotettu vesi.

Parivaljakko arvosteli erityisesti sitä, että kiropraktiikkaan liitetään kaikenlaista hörhörönsyä, joiden ainut tarkoitus on "Get a Porsche".

Kokonaisarvio: Bullshit

  • siis mitä. Miten toi liittyy edellisen kiropraktikon vastaukseen. Huijareita ja kauppamiehiä on joka piireissä. Ei kaikki ole bullshittiä onneksi.

  • Kiropraktiikka lienee yksi eniten huijareista koostuva ala. Alalla on paljon itseään täynnä olevia osaamattomia rahastajia.

Kuullostaa jotenkin tutulta...

  • ""Penn & Teller: Bullshit! on amerikkalainen, Emmy-ehdokkaana ollut sarja, jonka juontajina toimivat yhdysvaltalainen komedia- ja taikurikaksikko Penn & Teller. Sarjassa Penn & Teller arvostelevat humoristisin keinoin ja usein ronskia kieltä käyttäen mm. näennäistieteitä, yliluonnollisia uskomuksia, huuhaata, huijauksia ja suosittuja muotivillityksiä. Sarjan tavoitteena on innostaa katsojia kriittiseen ajatteluun.

Jotenkin tuntuu sekin tutulta...

Itse olen saanut todella hyvän avun selkävaivoihini koulutetulta kiropraktikolta.

Kaikkea muutakin kokeilin, mutta häneltä sain parhaimman avun.

    Moni muukin on saanut.

    Tässä yksi hyvä:

Ihmekös tuo on?
