Nearly 80 percent of Finns are against Nato membership. We, the Finns, have learnt our home works, for according to the new knowledge of Finnish history, marshal Mannerheim and the pre- Winter war leadership of Finland followed the secret plan of Hitler to get the Finnish people to arms against soviet people at the North front. In other words the nazi-minded Finnish leadership did not have any intention to give any possibility of peace in negotiations between the Soviet Union and Finland before Winter war. Probably it was the reason why President Kallio collapsed at the railway station, he perhaps knew about the criminal fascistic scheme. As known the main goal of Hitler was Barbarossa operation, to destroy the soviet people.
Other reasons against Nato membership are that Finns consider the Nato forces only military bubble since even poor and ragged Arab fighters are able to humiliate fat Yank boys. How could they defence the Finns ?! Russia knows also how dangerous fighters the Talebans are. And there is of course the State Treaty between Finland and Russia which Finns are not willing to violate.
The worst obstacle to the Nato membership, if some rightist regime would try to declare unilaterally that, as now the National Coalition Party; the Finns would be divided in half and dangerously both the consistency and the will to defend Finland would collapse.
As known the Left would like to be in military alliance with Russia, as the good years of Friendship, Co-operation and Mutual Assistance. The left do not forget that the USSR democratised Finland and liberated the Left after abolishing the fascistic regime of Finland, in conclusion of the Continuation war.
There are unfortunately again fascistic signs in Europe. For instance the Justice Minister of Estonian, the member of EU, used openly nazi symbols in his 50-birthday party in July. Also the heart of EU, Germany, allows an action of a certain nazi-minded party. It is clear that the duty of Russia and we all, is to cut a head of the snake of fascism if appears again in Finland or in Germany.
