Max Planck Instituutissa on tehty tutkimus eliniän ja syntymäviikon välisestä riippuvuudesta. Tutkimuksessa havaittiin, että talvikuukausina syntyneiden odotettavissa oleva elinikä on suurempi kuin kesäkuukausina syntyneillä. Tässä oli mukana itävaltalaisia ja tanskalaisia vanhuksia. Lyhin elinikä oli viikolla 20 syntyneillä ja korkein viikoilla 43 - 2 . Tätä tutkimusta tukevat muutkin samansuuntaiset tulokset.
"This article shows that in two European countries, Austria and Denmark, a person’s
life span correlates with his or her month of birth. It presents evidence that this pattern is not the result of the seasonal distribution of death. It also shows that the seasonal pattern in
longevity cannot be explained by the so-called “birthday effect”– the alleged tendency of
people to die shortly after their birthday. The article concludes with a discussion of possible
social and biological mechanisms related to a person’s season of birth that might influence life
expectancy".

Väestörekisteri sivulta kerran testasin mihin ikään asti elän, niin se antoi vastauksen 92 vuotiaaksi.
Tosin se ei tietty voi olla totta kun ei aina voi olla varma iskeekö jonkinlainen tappava sairaus, johon sitten päättyy elämäkin.
Olen jousimies(joulukuussa syntynyt) ja usein lukenut että jousimiehet saavuttavat monesti pisimmän iän kaikista merkeistä.
pitkään jatkuvasti sairaana ja mielenterveysongelmista kärsivänä?talvi-ihmiset ovat tosiaankin alvariinsa sairaita ja jälkimmäisistäkin enimmin kärsivät talvi-kevät-kausina syntyneet.
