HF Boardsin keskustelupalstalta napattua:
My take on it: Around one year ago there was the Superseries between Canada and Russia, I remember something that prior to the series he was sick with flu. Was there a chance that he was rushed into playing too soon and might have damaged the heart muscle?
It was actually just before the WJCs last year that he was sick, not the SuperSeries. Depending on who you listened to it was either the flu, a cold or bronchitis. According to the Mayo Clinic, the most common cause of myocarditis is an infection which can be caused by a virus, bacteria, parasites, or a couple other things. This was interesting:
The virus most often associated with myocarditis is coxsackievirus B, which can cause symptoms similar to a mild case of flu. But the viruses that cause common cold (adenovirus) and flu, a rash called "fifth disease" (parvovirus B19), gastrointestinal infections (echovirus), mononucleosis (Epstein-Barr virus) and measles (rubella) are also causes of myocarditis.
It would seem entirely possible that his illness just before the WJCs last year was the cause of his heart condition.
The question of why he took (or was given) the cordiamin remains. Was he (or Avangard's doctors) aware of the heart condition and it was meant to counteract it? Or was it given to him as a respiratory stimulant because he was suffering respiratory problems (often a symptom of heart disease)?
Whether he knew what he was taking (or being given) or not, I'd be willing to stake my life on the fact that he didn't take it with the goal of "enhancing performance".

No, onhan tuota muuallakin, kuin KHLssa.
Laittoi miettiin tuo nuomero 13...
Kaikkein eniten v*****aa, kun tuo tapahtui Venäjällä! Muutenkin koko maa on tunnettu epäluotettavuudestaan ja tapaus Lesha korostaa koko sekamelskaa entistä enemmän..
Mitä ihmettä Avangardin-johto sekoili Leshan suhteen???!!! :/
