This report ranks 50 appliance manufacturers selected according to their volume of sales.

The total turnover of the analysed companies is worth around Eur 550 billion, of which Eur 140 billion is generated by the major appliances considered in this report: refrigerators and freezers, washers and driers, dishwashers, hoods, cooking appliances, microwave ovens, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners.

Considering the country of the headquarters, 11 companies are Chinese, 6 Americans, 6 Italians, 14 of other European countries (including Turkey), 13 among Japan, South Korea, India and New Zealand.

Company profiles are available for each of the 50 appliance manufacturers, with information on company background, historical and recent facts, basic data (including total turnover of the last three years, white appliances turnover and white appliances share on total production, number of employees and turnover per employee, as well as number of household appliances sold), sales breakdown by business, by product and by geographical area, production sites, brands, divisions, controlled companies and subsidiaries with office addresses and contacts.

Each profile contains also the company head office address, including telephone, fax and website, the stock symbol and the trading stock exchange, CEO and/or Chairman contacts.

Among the considered products: household appliances, built-in appliances, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, driers, dishwashers, hoods, cooking appliances (hobs and ovens), microwaves, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners.
