News of Taliban ‘horror’ stories are beginning to
unfurl as America and Britain try to win the
propaganda war. A report by one Ian Cobian claims
that among the ‘many cruelties’ the Taliban
had ‘tortured’ children. This report alleges that
during their rule, the Taliban had savagely
beaten an unknown number of children simply
because their parents had committed crimes.

This story is similar to the ‘horror’ stories
that the Iraqi’s had supposedly committed in
Kuwait. Remember the story of how the Iraqi’s had
killed a sick child and then stolen the incubator
it was in? Turned out the story was not true
after all. It was just another Western propaganda
gimmick.

Unfortunately for the West’s propaganda machinery
these Taliban ‘horror’ stories don’t seem to fit
the picture. How would you expect the Taliban to
commit such ghastly crimes and yet not harm a
single of those eight missionaries they held for
weeks?

Yvonne Ridley, a western journalist, who was
taken captive and later released, had publicly
stated that the Taliban had treated her with
respect and kindness.

A Japanese doctor who worked in Afghanistan for a
considerable period had said the Taliban were
well liked by the people.

It’s an open secret, never mind how the West’s
media tries to cover up, that the Afghan people
welcomed the Taliban as their saviours when they
swept across the land trouncing the rapists,
murderers, thieves and poppy cultivators now
called rather pompously by the ridiculous
title ‘The Northern Alliance’

In a bid to usurp the truth, America is turning
towards Hollywood for help in its propaganda war.
That’s not surprising. After all US foreign
policy and Hollywood have a commonality – make
believe. A look at the US press briefing on CNN
and SKY will tell it all.

And now Sophia Loren has joined America’s
propaganda war as yet another cheerleader amidst
a phalanx of flag waving ‘journalists’

In an article for The Independent Robert Fisk had
quoted the so-called ‘liberal’ American
television journalist Geraldo Rivera as saying “
I’m feeling more patriotic than at any time in my
life, itching for justice, or maybe just revenge.
And this catharsis I’ve gone through has caused
me to reassess what I do for a living”. How can
you expect fair reporting from ‘liberal’
journalists with an attitude like that?

Chairman of CNN Walter Isaacson, a Zionist Jew
(the Gentile Ted Turner has been pushed into the
shadows after CNN merged with Time - AOL) told
his hired staff that showing the misery of
Afghanistan ran the risk of promoting enemy
propaganda. “ It seems perverse,” he said, “ to
focus too much on the casualties and hardships in
Afghanistan …we must talk about how the Taliban
are using civilian shields …” How’s that for
journalist ethics?

Towing the American propaganda line SKY’s Lisa
Aziz, with eyes as big as flying saucers, a stoop
and a smirk, announced that the Taliban had
killed a young boy because he laughed! What do
you say to a story like that? There’s a hole in
your story, dear Lisa, dear Lisa – A-Hole?

The other day on SKY NEWS (or was it CNN? Never
mind both are the same) the anchorman said that
the Taliban had expelled the civilian population
of Kunduz as they dug in for a fight. Well, if
the Taliban were so bad why did they not massacre
the population instead? And if the civilian
population were kept behind the West’s propaganda
machinery would have accused the Taliban of using
them as a human shield. It’s a heads I win, tails
you loose situation.

But amidst the carnage in Afghanistan there comes
a hilarious story. America, CNN says, is to seek
Britain’s help to fight terrorism on her soil.
Cap that, will yer? The champion terrorist state
seeking another country’s help to fight her own
creation!

Anyway, as days go by we will be fed with more
Taliban ‘horror’ stories and now that Hollywood
is in the scene some of these stories will have
dramatic effects to titillate your mind.

Just have one thought at the back of your mind.
The stories of Taliban or Al-Qaeda come from
their sworn enemies. So don’t expect any balance –
there will be none. Remember we were told that
the Viet Cong and Nelson Mandela’s ANC comprised
wicked people and that they were
all ‘terrorists’?
