Host Family kirje lukuun

it’s coming back.) I live for acting, it’s the one thing I feel comfortable with doing the most and it’s the thing I know I can do, though it probably is the thing I need practice with the most too. I hear a lot the question “How did you learn to draw?” from different people. I find it tedious to have no other answer to them than, “I learn by drawing.” It’s the something I find a good philosophy, because while many things are best learnt in books everything is learnt by doing the thing in the end. I like photographing things around me and the everyday things and I am known to enjoy singing Christmas songs during every other season than the Christmas one (we used to have quite a duet during comprehensive school with Xwho was in my group of friends. And while we never got many other comments than occasional “shut you trap.” we certainly had lots fun. We still do.)
I have a lovely circle of friend in my opinion. I have the group I had in comprehensive school which consist of seven other girls whom I share many common interests and we keep in touch as the school where they went to keep lots of contact with mine as they are practically neighbours. From that group I have one very close friend X, whom I could trust with my life and likewise. Then there is my “best friend” if labels are needed, whom I have known my whole life. We are basically sisters to the point that it drives us crazy at times, her name is Xand we like to make short-films together from scratch. She directs, edits, scripts and acts. I script, act and do the visual stuff like props and the camera angles. Xis another of my closest friends and he is perhaps most similar with me of all my friends, it’s scary how we think of the exact same things at the same time. I think of him as the little brother I never had. Lastly there are X and her friends whom are very down to earth and there’s never any drama between us plus all the friends I’ve made in my new school which I go to with X and many more. I really hope I'll make great new friends during my year in Britain.
School is very important to me though I should show it more and appreciate it more. I acknowledge that life would suck without education in the “First world” and I can’t wait to see how school life is like in another country. I can’t wait to see how History is taught in Britain for example. I don’t know anything about the British school system because while we seem to get the US high school from every direction, the UK system is all but unknown to me. Also I am interested to find out how Drama is taught in UK… And honestly every other class too. I am a curious person and I like picking up little facts here and there which can be useful in the future, some more than others―――
