Nykyuskonto

nykytieteelisine kommenteineen?

Jesus also ridicules those who think of the Kingdom of God in literal terms, as if it were a specific, actual place. Jesus uses these words: "if those who lead you say to you, 'look, the Kingdom is in the sky, then the birds will arrive there before you do'. If they say to you 'look, it is in the sea' then the fish will arrive there before you do. The Kingdom is a state of self discovery. The Kingdom is inside of you and outside of you. When you come to know yourself, you will know that YOU are the Son of God...but if you do not learn this, you will live in poverty."

"Do you not understand?" asked Jesus..."what you look forward to has already come but you do not recognize it. The Kingdom of Heaven is spread out upon the earth...NOW...and men do not see it." The Kingdom, in other words, is a state of transformed consciousness. The creation and God are ONE. Humans and God are ONE.

As Dr. James Robinson of the Institute of Antiquity and Christianity put it: "The entire history of the origins of Christianity, including the life of Jesus, are going to have to be rewritten." Those 52 scrolls unlocked a Zen Jesus and a Zen Christianity. They set Jesus free from the man made prison of the doctrines, dogmas and creeds of a power obsessed church.

Amerikkalainen kirjailija Gregg Braden kertoo:

http://www.greggbraden.net/articles.html
On Moving Towards Compassion:
If we believe there is a single source of all that is, then we have opened the door to healing the illusion of separation. We have opened the door to healing the judgment of light and dark. In the presence of that healing, our body responds. I believe this holds our greatest possibility for the healing of our bodies and the healing of nations. By simply embracing the possibility that there is one source of all that we will ever know in this world, and that all we witness and experience is of that source, we are invited to transcend our judgements. As we do so, the polarities fall away.

The key to this time in history is to transcend judgement and allow for the possibility that light and dark are one and the same, and, as the Egyptian Master Thoth said, different only in seeming and part of an even greater force. As we embrace that, we open the door to the possibility of compassion.

http://www.apollonius.net/bernard1e.html
There is evidence to indicate that not only were the original doctrines of early Essene Christianity radically changed at the Council of Nicaea and replaced by others entirely different, but that the man whose life was an embodiment of the original doctrines was likewise replaced by another man who exemplified the new doctrines. The name of the second man, who was not a vegetarian and who did not prohibit the killing of animals, was Jesus Christ, who was put in the place of Apollonius of Tyana, the historical world teacher of the First Century.

The first act of the Church Fathers, after they created their new religion and its messiah, neither of which existed previously, was to burn all books they could lay their hands on, especially those written during the first few centuries, which made no mention of Jesus and which referred to Apollonius as the spiritual leader of the First Century, realizing as they did that such books, if not destroyed, constituted a dangerous menace to the survival of their deception. It was for this reason that the churchmen took such great pains to burn the ancient libraries, including the famous Alexandrian Library with its 400,000 volumes, which was burnt to the ground by edict of Theodosius, when a Christian mob destroyed the Serapeum where the scrolls and manuscripts were kept.

Kyllä totuuden etsiminen on ihmisen työ.

Sinun lähestymistapasi on kaukana objektiivisesta...

Minusta olisi korkea aika muillekin silminnäkijöille tulla esille kertomaan omia kertomuksia.

There is virtually no accurate historical proof that a Jew by the name of Jesus actually lived some 2000 years ago, doing his thing with miracles and rising from the dead. Practically everything we "know" about Jesus comes from the Gospels - all of which were written decades after his alledged death and resurrection.

Curiously, no literature is existant from that period that questions the gospels and its bizarre tales. And even if the gospels are correct, it is interesting to note that even the Churches acknowledge, there is only tenous proof that organized Christianity can trace its history to the Last Supper.

Even if we ignore the religious implications of his life, and view Jesus as merely a political opponent of Roman authorities, we hard put to find any evidence that he existed. To be sure, there were some religious leaders in those days, Josephus Flavius, born in 37 AD, and a historian by profession, developed the concept of modern Jewish history. In his writings mention is made of several "sons of god" and "wondermen", eg Honi - put to death in 65 AD and even a man called John the Baptist. But Flavius writes nothing about a Jesus.

Years later, the Churches discovered that Flavius wrote nothing about Jesus. Found that hard to believe, and concocted a "Testimonium Flavium" as an appendix to his writings which conviently (of course) gave delayed recognition that a certain Jesus of Nazareth actually lived.

But let's keep with historical facts only. It is proven that around 70 - 80 AD, that there were Jewish communities outside of Palestine that were in spiritual opposition to Jerusalem. One of these sects, was the Essenes, of which we learned much when the "Qumran scrolls" were unearthed in 1974. These scrolls do give some information that a Jesus did live and was more than likely a member of this community. It's possible therefore, that since Jesus did not live in Palestine, that may be the reason why Flavius knew nothing of him. Curiously, as soon as the Churches discovered that, their jubilation over the foundings of the Scrolls quieted very sudden.

The passage at the foot of this document reveals some of the nature of the rivalry which developed between the followers of Apollonius and the followers of Jesus.

A rivalry between the followers of various holy men naturally developed in the late Roman Empire. The followers of Apollonius and of Jesus provide an example. The following is from a the Christian author Eusebius. It is part of his treatise Against Apollonius (same source as above, vol. II pp.487,489,491).
Here we get a rare glimpse of what one of Apollonius's followers, Hierocles, had to say about Christianity.

    [Ch. II]
I need not say with what admiring approval he [Hierocles] attributes his [Apollonius's] thaumaturgic feats not to tricks of wizardry, but to a divine and mysterious wisdom; and he [Hierocles] believes them to have been what he supposes them to have been, though he advances no proof of this contention. Listen then to his very words: "In their anxiety to exalt Jesus, they run up and down prating of how he made the blind see and worked certain other miracles of the kind." Then after an interval he adds as follows: "Let us note however how much better and more sensible is the view which we take of such matters, and explain the conception which we entertain of men gifted with remarkable powers." And thereupon after passing heedlessly by Aristeas of Proconnesus and Pythagoreas as somewhat too old, he continues thus: "But in the time of our own ancestors, during the reign of Nero, there flourished Apollonius of Tyana, who from mere boyhood when he became the priest in Aegae of Cilicia of Asclepius, the lover of mankind, worked any number of miracles, of which I will omit the greater number, and only mention a few." Then he begins at the beginning and enumerates the wonders worked by Apollonius, after which he continues in the following words: "What then is my reason for mentioning these facts? It was in order that you may be able to contrast our own accurate and well-established judgement on each point, with the easy credulity of the Christians. For whereas we reckon him who wrought such feats not a god, but only a man pleasing to the gods, they on the strength of a few miracles proclaim their Jesus a god." To this he adds after a little more the following remark: "And this point is also worth noticing, that whereas the tales of Jesus have been vamped up by Peter and Paul and a few others of the kind,--men who were liars and devoid of education and wizards,--the history of Apollonius was written by Maximus of Aegae, and by Damis the philosopher who lived constantly with him [i.e., Apollonius], and by Philostratus of Athens, men of the highest education, who out of respect for the truth and their love of mankind determined to give the publicity they deserved to the actions of a man at once noble and a friend of the gods." These are the very words used by Hierocles in his treatise against us which he has entitled "Lover of Truth."

    kiitos tarkennuksestasi...samaa asiaan ajoin takaa.

Mikä on todennäköisyys että he olisivat hyväksyneet pakanan opettajakseen? Miten yhdistää juutalainen traditionaalinen reformiliike
    ja joku pakana?

Tuo piilopaikka-juttu on mielenkiintoinen. Tosin Qumranin yhteisö eli tuolla...eivätkä he kaiketi ole olleet siellä ketään piilossa...

    Tällä kertaa onnittelen...löysit asiallisen linkin...=)

Furthermore, Constantine's popularity may have suffered severe damage from murdering his wife Fausta and his son Crispus in 326.

Curiously, as soon as the Churches discovered that, their jubilation over the foundings of the Scrolls quieted very sudden.

noin paljon vaivautuu kopioimaan, niin kannattaisi valita
kunnon lähteet. Pieni perheriita tuskin Konstan suosioon

    Murhaajakeisari on kyllä yliampuva nimike.
Flaviuksen teksteissä on harrastettu vähän liikaa karsintaa.
Lieko epämukava tieto jätetty tahallaan pois. Kuolleen meren

    outoja johtopäätöksiä.

Flavius Josephus published a history of the Jews in twenty books around 93 CE. In the 18th and 20th books, there are two little references to Jesus that have inspired a massive literature on their authenticity or spuriousness. The purpose of this paper is to survey all of the relevant arguments concerning the authorship of these passages.

Vähemmän täysipäisiä sivuja sitten löytyy useampiakin.
