Position description
Wärtsilä Power Plants is strengthening the sales support functions in the Technology and Solutions team in Vaasa. We are looking for an application manager to develop operation and maintenance issues for Power Plants Sales.

Responsibilities
- Develop lifecycle cost parameters such as reliability, availability and consumables
- Develop O&M input for feasibility analysis to power plants Sales and customers
- Act as a contact person towards Services in O&M related issues
- Consolidate development needs of power plant lifecycle cost and communicate those towards Power plants and Services
- Support operative Sales with competitive cost estimations

Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Engineering
- 5-10 years of work experience, Service experience is beneficial
- Understand maintenance, service, operational guarantees, standards and service agreements
- Appreciate economics, accounting, feasibility and key performance indicators
- Understand business models and earning logics
- Realize overall situation and able to lead teams towards solutions
- Ability to communicate the final solution, everything is possible to solve
- Capability to do out of the box thinking
- Competence to work as a team leader and team player
- Willing to work with different cultures, different level of employees and customers
- Knowledge of combustion engines, gas turbines and plant automation systems
