The Russian Air Force played a crucial role in the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) imperative advance at the Al-Malaah Farms on Sunday, striking the jihadist reinforcements before they could reach their comrades near the front-lines. On Monday morning, the Russian Air Force continued where they left off on Sunday, hitting a number jihadist targets in the northern Aleppo countryside, while the Syrian Arab Army and their allies advance from the northern farms of Al-Malaah. According to a media correspondent in the provincial capital, the Russian Air Force conducted over 30 airstrikes above the Handarat Mountains and ‘Anadan Plains of northern Aleppo this morning.

The Syrian Armed Forces launched a powerful assault on Sunday morning to seize the strategic Al-Malaah Farms that are located in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate. Leading the charge on Sunday was the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces,” who broke through the jihadist rebel defenses and seized the eastern farms of Al-Malaah after a fierce battle in northern Aleppo. Following the capture of the eastern farms, the Syrian Armed Forces advanced to the poorly fortified northern farms, where they were able to once again overrun the jihadist rebels en route to securing this rural area. According to an Al-Masdar correspondent that is embedded with the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Armed Forces killed an estimated 15 enemy combatants while capturing the northern farms of Al-Malaah. Meanwhile, the Syrian Armed Forces themselves suffered minimal casualties, thanks in large part to the Russian Air Force’s large presence above northern Aleppo. Assisting the Tiger Forces in Al-Malaah were the pro-government militias that comprised of the National Defense Forces (NDF), Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), 4th Mechanized Division, and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalions).

Syrian Army Cuts Terrorists' Supply Routes in Aleppo's Lairmoun
(FNA)- The Syrian army and popular forces backed by the Russian air force continued hitting the Takfiri terrorists' military positions in Aleppo, and managed to disconnect their supply routes in the Northern province.
The Syrian army destroyed the military bases of the Takfiri terrorists in Bani Zeid region, Al-Mallah farms, Handarat camp and Kastelo road while cutting their supply routes in al-Lairmoun road.
Meantime, the military centers of Al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham terrorists groups in Tal Mossayebin and Kafar Joum villages in the Western part of Aleppo came under the Syrian army attack. The army units also hit the terrorists' military positions in Hayan and Hrytan villages.
Reports said on Saturday that the Syrian Army troops and its popular allies, in large-scale joint operations, struck the terrorist groups' positions in Northern Aleppo, pushing back the militants from more positions in the region.
Syrian soldiers, National Defense Forces and Liwa al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary) launched their assault from several directions in Northern Aleppo, striking the terrorist groups' positions near Handarat and in al-Zahra, al-Khalediyeh, Bani Zeid, and al-Lairamoun districts inside Aleppo.
The Syrian pro-government forces pushed the militants back from their positions and captured the Aleppo Cotton, Sarheel Factory, and several sites in the al-Zahra district.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army and National Defense Forces (NDF) in a fresh military operation against the Al-Nusra Front Takfiri terrorist group managed to seize back the village of al-Ramliyeh in the Southern part of Hama province, and killed tens of militants in heavy clashes.
The Syrian government troops took full control of al-Ramliyeh village and its surrounding hilltops in the Southern parts of al-Salamiyeh region in Southern Hama province.

At least 60 al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed and their military vehicles equipped with machineguns were also destroyed in the battle over al-Ramliyeh village.

Earlier on Sunday, the Syrian army and its allies repelled the Al-Nusra Front's attack on their military positions along a strategic road near the al-Ramliyeh village on the Southern part of Hama province.

The army units and popular forces pushed back the Al-Nusra Front terrorists from the vicinity of al-Ramliyeh near the al-Salamiyeh city and Northern Homs.

The Al-Nusra Front's attack was the biggest one over the past two months.

At least 12 Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in the Syrian army's pursuing counteroffensive near Al-Ramliyeh village and al-Asi river.

On Saturday, the Syrian army had a tactical withdraw from al-Ramliyeh village as four terrorist groups simultaneously attacked the army's military positions there.

The government forces pulled out from al-Ramliyeh village in Southern Hama as a large number of terrorists from Faylaq al-Homs, Ansar al-Shariya, Badr 313 and Jeish al-Towhid attacked the military positions of the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces near Homs province.

The terrorist groups occupied the village after several hours of clashes with the Syrian government forces.

Also on Saturday, the Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with al-Shamiyeh Front after the terrorist group stormed the government forces' positions in Eastern Hama.

Al-Shamiyeh Front targeted strongholds of National Defense Forces in Western side of al-Salamiyah near the village of Ramliyeh.

In the meantime, the Syrian fighter jets, for their part, carried out several combat flights over the terrorists' defense lines and inflicted major damage on their military equipment.

In relevant developments in the province on Friday, the Army troops, tipped off by intelligence agents, disbanded a terrorist group carrying large volume of arms and ammunition heading towards Northern Hama.

"The five-members group of terrorists, carrying two thermal rockets, automatic rifles, grenades, RPG rounds and ammunition for PKC and 23 mm machineguns in their car, were driving on a road towards militant-held regions in Northern Hama," the sources said, adding, "The Syrian soldiers stormed the group near the town of Masyaf, which ended in the killing of one the militants and arrest of the rest of them."

The visit started from the recently liberated Marj al-Sultan airbase, then moved to the surrounding SAA points; where he checked on the soldiers, and the situation on the ground.
During his visit to SAA points Commander in Chief Bashar al-Assad was less than 100 meters away from the enemy.
After that he went to Marj al-Sultan airbase and shared an Iftar meal with the troops there.

Sitrep from Aleppo:
During the past weeks, terrorists were building up an attack force in Aleppo's countrysides; during that time, Syrian Military Command had an eye on their gatherings and movements, and the support they have been getting from Turkey.
Last night, The Syrian Military General Command issued its orders to hit terrorist preparations in that area.
Comlying with the issued orders, Syrian Arab Army's heavy artillery and MLRS launched several barrages on preset terrorist positions, while SyAAF and RuAF also launched several airstrikes on these positions.
The bombardment reached the following locations in Aleppo's Northeastern and Eastern Countrysides; Andan, Hretan, Kafar Hamra, al-Layramoon, Mazare` al-Mallah (al-Mallah Farms), al-Castello road, western side of al-Zahraa, around the Defense Research Facilities, Dar-Izza and other parts of the countrysides.
Also, Units of the Syrian Arab Armed Forces were dispatched to reinforce SAA's checkpoints around the city anticipating a terrorist attack.
The attacks took out terrorist forces gatherings dealing them heavy loses; battles occurred in the western side of al-Zahraa, specifically near the air defense battalion where SAA units held their positions against terrorists attacks dealing them heavy loses in lives and equipment without any change in the areas under control.
Furthermore, terrorists main supply route known as "al-Castello way" had its share of clashes, when terrorists attacked from there but the attacking terrorists force was all wiped out by Syrian Artillery and units present on the ground, marking the 10th day of complete block of terrorists supply route by SAA's fire.
On al-Layramoon axis, SAA units advanced securing number of residential blocks; which means increasing the firepower and control over SAA's back and thus securing it.
The terrorists occupied neighborhood of "Bani Zaid" the known neighborhood where terrorists fire their mortars toward Aleppo; had the major share of the shelling and airstrikes; all the locations that mortar fire have been spotted getting out of got hit, all the locations which intel suggests are storage areas, HQs or terrorists used buildings got hit.
Yesterday witnessed the most intesive strikes by SyAAF, RuAF and Syrian Artillery in the history of the war in Aleppo; and we can safely say, it was nothing. It was only securing the back of the army, the real battle did not begin yet. What was seen yesterday, whether the might, the number or the kind of munition used was nothing compared to what is coming.

The recapture was preceded by intense aerial bombardment conducted by Syrian and Russian fighter jets and helicopters, as well as Army artillery units. Pro-jihadi accounts on social media mourned the death of dozens of its fighters in the clashes. The Turkish-backed Nour Edine al-Zinki Movement said it lost contact with a group of its Afghani fighters who have been trapped inside Al-Asamat area. With this recent and significant gain, the Syrian Army is now positioned some 3 km from the jihadi stronghold of Hraytan to the west.

A military source said Friday that the Air Force destroyed several sites for terrorists and a large number of armored cars, car bombs, vehicles equipped with machine guns and others loaded with ammunition and killed tens of terrorists in areas south of the military academies, south of al-Hikma School, in the vicinity of Project 1070 (departments), in the area surrounding al-Ramousa, kafr Naha, Kafr Hamra, al-Ameriyeh and south of the gas plant in Aleppo.
Homs
An army unit carried out a special operation in which a number of terrorists of the so-called “Ahrar al-Sham” were killed in al-Ghajar village in Homs northern countryside, according to SANA reporter. The killed terrorists included two leaders within “Ahrar al-Sham” terrorist organization; Maher al-Tamer and Abu Nabeel Delli, in addition to the terrorists Ahmad al-Najjar and Khaled Delli.
The army operation resulted also in injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Daraa
An army unit killed most members of a terrorist group that was transporting ammunition southeast of Daraa city.
Quneitra
An army unit set up an ambush against a terrorist group, killing all of its members, in al-Samadaniyeh al-Gharbiyeh village in the southern Quneitra province, SANA reporter said on Thursday. Another army unit, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, targeted a terrorist group in Ufania village, 2km north of Khan Arnabeh, killing and injuring all of its members.
