Ottawan yliopiston emiritusprofessori Michel Chossudovsky on esittänyt arvionsa saamiinsa Wikileaks-paljastuksiin ja FBI:n tutkimuksiin että kävi ensiviikon vaaleissa miten tahansa todennäköisyys että Hillary Clinton joutuu syytteeseen on varsin mahdollinen, jopa todennäköinen.
Kiinnostavaksi asian tekee se että USA:n asevoimien sisällä on vastarintaa sitä vastaan mitä Clinton on esittänyt mm. Syyrian sodan ratkaisuksi (lentokielto --> merkitsee sotaa Syyriaa ja Venäjää vastaan.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff have expressed their opposition to the adoption of a “No Fly Zone” in Syria, which could lead to a war with Russia. Both the “No Fly Zone” as well as Hillary’s nuclear option “on the table” are the object of debate by America’s top brass. Referring to the use of nuclear weapons against Iran, Hillary said “we will obliterate them”."
