Tähän päivään mennessä ID liike on onnistunut julkaisemaan yhden artikkelin vertaisarvioitavassa tieteellisessä julkaisussa, "Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington"issa, joskin julkaisu on myöhemmin hylännyt sen.
Artikkelin kirjoitti Stephen Meyer joka toimi ohjelmajohtajana "Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture":ssa,
