Tuleeko pakkopäivityksiä kymppiin?

Tänään W7 update heitti näkyviin taas muutaman päivityksen, jotka aiemmin on "tasoittaneet tietä" Windows10 asennukseen. Minulla ei ole onneksi automaattipäivitys päällä koska en halua vanhaan koneeseen kymppiä pyörimään.

Onko muille tarjottu pakkopullaa?

      Ei ole tullut enkä ole provosoitunut tai tullut harhaluuloiseksi vaikka tuosta "pakkopullasta" ovat tietyt piirit paljon täälläkin pitäneet ääntä.

      Seiskaan tulee edelleen päivityksiä kun ilmenee korjattavaa, ei niissä pakkopäivityksistä ole kyse.

      Eikös se tuputustarjous loppunut jo vuosi sitten, että ei pitäisi enää pakollakaan 10 tunkeutua koneeseesi.

      Juuri niitä kymppiin siirtymistä helpottavia ja telemetry-päivityksiä tyrkyttävät säännöllisesti. Netissä on listoja mitkä kannattaa jättää pois jos ei viitsi itse kaikkia googlettaa mitä ovat.

      Jos on WUpdate asetus vain tärkeät päivitykset niin W7Pro koneisiin ei tule kuin koonti päivitys ja hyödytön turha haittaohjelman poistotyökalu kuukausittain. Mitään ylimääräisiä ei lataudu koneelle. Valinnaisia päivityksiä on kertynyt 4vuoden aikana jotain 68 josta voi itse asentaa jos tarvitsee. Jos koneen asetus on ollut huolimaton kaikki automaattiset ja valinnaiset asennetaan oma vikanne.

        W7 PRO vain 2 päivitystä viime kuussa joista toinen tieturva koonti päivitys. Jätä vain kaikki päivittämättä oma asiasi.

        Eihän niitä joka kerran tule, melkoisen varmasti sinullakin on jotain näistä.

        Suorituskyvynvalvonta > Tapahtumanseurantaistunnot > AutoLogger-Diagtrack-Listener > Pysäytä
        Käynnistystapahtumien seurantaistunnot > AutoLogger-Diagtrack-Listener > Poista käytöstä
        C:\Käyttäjät\All Users\Microsoft\Diagnosis\ETLLogs\AutoLogger > Poista kansio

        Open the Task Scheduler (Win key then type "sched"). Under Task Scheduler Library -> Microsoft -> Windows delete the following items:
        Everything under "Application Experience
        Everything under "Autochk"
        Everything under "Customer Experience Improvement Program"
        Under "Disk Diagnostic" delete only the "Microsoft-Windows-DiskDiagnosticDataCollector"

        Under "Maintenance" "WinSAT" "Media Center" and click the "status" column, then select all non-disabled entries and disable them.

        Now you can reboot. When you open Windows Update again it will ask to install whichever updates above were removed. Right-click on each one and select "hide".

      Win7:ssa kannattaa katsoa googlella päivityksen numero KBxxxxxx ja sana "telemetry". Optionaalisissa päivityksissä tuota telemetriaskeidaa esiintyy usein.

      Telemetriapäivitykset voi halutessaan poistaa. Netistä löytyy useamman sivustoa, joihin on koottu päivitykset poistava skripti. Esimerkiksi tämän sivun keskustelun viimeisessä viestissä eli sivun alareunassa on sellainen.
