The relationship between USA and Israel.
For starters the Lavon affair:

Long story Short Israeli spies went into Egypt planning to blow up American targets.
One of the bombs exploded before it should have, and the plan failed.
The Mossad spies were caught and the whole scheme of framing Egypt was exposed.
(by the way: the Israeli president just had a party honoring these 'brave' men involved in Lavon affair.)
The goal of this operation was to get USA to fight Israels war.
This wasn't quite enough for the Israelis, there is another such case.
This incident is something quite terrible, but apparently your Congress didn't think so....

Wouldn't you be mad, if some country would attack an American ship, trying to sunk it.
Machine gunning the life-boats on the ship, trying to make sure nobody survived on the ship.
Well Israel is that country.
Israeli planes attacked the USS liberty, it was really really clear they knew it was an American battle ship, as the Israeli recon planes had been circling the ship for quite a bit of time.
On Wikipedia you can see the picture, clear American markings on the ship, no mistake!
First the Israeli recon planes made the target clear, after that the fighter planes tried to hit the communications, but the ship was able to send SOS.
The Israeli torpedo boats tried to sunk it, but USS liberty didn't sink, and that was a miracle.
34 American serviceman dead, 172 injured...
The goal was clear, to get united states in the war by sinking the USS liberty.
Thats pure evil if you ask me.

There was no Congressional hearing on this, WHY?
For example, the USS pueblo incident, American spy ship at the coast of north Korea was captured, 1 dead American and 82 Americans were held prisoner for 11 months.
The congress was all over that incident...
But when an 'Allie' attacks, no nothing.
USA has given something around 135 000 000 000 dollars to Israel, for WHAT?
For it being such a good Allie?
These are the incidents they were caught, think what other things could have happen, that we just don't know.
What the hell is wrong with USA asks one guy from Finland.
