I didn't like what happened last night - I wanted Finland to beat Russia!
And a shoot-out sucks, especially losing in a shoot out. I remember Nagano 1998 clearly when we (Canada) lost in a shoot-out against the Czechs. That loss took the wind out of the Canadians, who then had no motivation for the bronze (mutta toivon Canadalaiset pelaajat oppisivat jotain, että kannattaa yrittää mitaliin, että on 3 voittajaa olympiaisessa.
I suppose it is worse to not even get a chance for the metal round.
I would have loved to see Canada-Finland for the gold, as I am living in Finland now. I would have loved to show the world that Canada and Finland are the top two hockey countries in the world (as World Cup proved).
Now the Finnish people are starting to forget hockey and "minä itse pääsen vasta vauhtiin" now that Canada plays Russia tomorrow. I really hope Canada kicks Russia for what they did to Finland

And besides, the Finnish people don't give a shit about ice hockey and that's 'cause our team's just a bunch of losers. Year after year they follow the same tactics, first Finland leads by 2 or 3 three goals and guess what? Then those scumbags f**k up everything and lose!!!
It's a Finnish tradition just like sauna... and has cost us two or three ice hockey world championships. In 1995 we just got lucky, otherwise Finland's a third world country in terms of ice hockey.
