I do not consider myself as a conspirasy theorist, but here's my analysis on this picture:
http://www.themedianews.com/DAGGER/Stefan/01820DOSSIER UA175-Dateien/image023.jpg
It ought to be Flight 175 that hits WTC-2 (South Tower). According the official records, the plane used in Flight 175 is this one (767-222):
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/188174/L/
(this picture is taken in August 2001, about month before 9/11)
The wingspan of Boeing 767-200 is 46.7m
http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=103
(Next figures are calculated from this picure)
Wingspan 52 mm
Distance of the engines from each others 17.5 mm
Therefore:
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (pic) 17.3 mm
- engines' distance from wing's tip (real) approx. 15.8 m
- engines' distance from middlepoint of the (cross section of) hull (real) approx. 8.0m
Flight 175 just before colliding the WTC-2:
http://www.themedianews.com/DAGGER/Stefan/01820DOSSIER UA175-Dateien/image023.jpg
Proportions measured from the picture:
Wingspan: 40 mm
Engines' distance from each others: 13 mm
Therefore
- Wingspan = 37 m / 120 ft ( assumption in this phase, calculated from 40 : 52 *46.7 m )
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (pic) 13.5 mm
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (real) 12.4 m (assumption)
- engines' distance from middlepoint of the (cross section of) hull (real) 6.0 m (assumption)
COMPARISION TO DIFFEREBT BOEING 757-MODELS:
Boeing 757-300
http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=102
Wingspan 38 m / 124 ft
(Next figures are calculated from this picure)
Wingspan 45 mm
Distance of the engines from each others 15 mm
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (pic) 15 mm
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (real) 12.7 m
- engines' distance from middlepoint of the hull (real) 6.3 m
Boeing 757-200
http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=102
Wingspan 38 m / 124 ft
(Next figures are calculated from picure behind above link)
Wingspan 47 mm
Distance of the engines from each others 16.5 mm
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (pic) 15.3 mm
- engines' distansce from wing's tip (real) 12.3 m
- engines' distance from middlepoint of the hull (real) 6.7 m
The item's proportions do not change, even the item's azimuth to the camera do change. Because in above measurements, the ALL "real" proportions of the Flight 175 to 757-300 is 0.965 (or greater), where as 767-222 fails to reach that correlation in some of the relative proportions.
IT IS MORE LIKELY, THAT
http://www.themedianews.com/DAGGER/Stefan/018 DOSSIER UA175-Dateien/image023.jpg
PICTURE HAS A BOEING 757-200/300 MODEL, THAN BOEING 767-222.
And from those Boeing 757-200X, which is crossbreeding of 757-200 and 757-300. ( Picture or scematics is not available. )
More about Boeing 757-200/300:sta:
http://www.janes.com/aerospace/civil/news/jawa/boeing_7 57-200.shtml
The most intresting parts:
757-200 `Catfish': Boeing's own 757-200 prototype (N757A) fitted with radar nose in Lockheed Martin F-22A profile and representative F-22A swept wing section above flight deck containing conformal radar antennas for advanced radar trials; first flight in this configuration 11 March 1999. See also Lockheed Martin entry.
757-200X: Projected extended-range version under study in 1999; would combine fuselage of 757-200 with strengthened wing structure of 757-300; two auxiliary fuel tanks in aft cargo hold, combined capacity 3,785 litres (1,000 US gallons; 833 Imp gallons); maximum take-off weight 123,375 kg (272,000 lb); range 5,000 n miles; (9,260 km; 5,753 miles).
(additional fuel tanks, more flamable cargo... )
