Kone on xp-home. Itunesin asentaminen ei onnistu. Tulee error 1406 ja siihen
jää asennus.
Goolettamalla löytyy seuraava vinkki:
1. On the Start menu, click Run.
2. Type in Regedit and click OK (this takes you to the Registry Editor).
3. Click the reveal button ( sign) next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
4. Click the reveal button next to SOFTWARE under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
5. Click the reveal button next to Classes.
6. Click the reveal button next to ".cdda."
To save (make a backup) the original contents of the registry, so that you
could go back to your original state if necessary:
1. Select the .cdda key in the left hand list.
2. On the File menu, click Export.
3. In the dialog that comes up, make sure the "Selected branch" button
is selected for the Export Range.
4. Save with file with a name and location that is easy to find, for
example, call the file "cdda settings" and save it to your desktop.
7. Find the heading OpenWithList."
8. Right-click on OpenWithList.
9. From the pop-up menu, click Permissions.
10. Click the Add button.
11. Click the Advanced button.
12. Click the Find Now button.
The Find Now button should list all of the users.
13. Select the Everyone user.
14. Click OK. This closes this dialog.
15. Click OK in the dialog box now on top. This closes this dialog.
16. In the Permissions for Everyone section, next to Full Control, select
Allow. Click OK.
Tämä ei onnistu. cdda-kansioon ei pysty lisäämään Full Control oikeuksia
ryhmälle Everyone. Ylemmän tason kansiolle se onnistuu, mutta ei auta
ongelmaan. cdda-kansiolle ei näytä olevan ylipäätään kenelläkään oikeuksia (???)
Ongelma on todella kinkkisen tuntuinen. Mitä tässä voi tehdä? Onko kukaan törmännyt samaan?

rekisterin oikeuksissa .cdda
paina hiiren oikealla .cdda kansiota valitse permissions. sieltä valitse advanced jos ruksi on kohdassa inherit from paren ota täppä pois kysyy copioidaanko niin vastaa copy.
tämänjälkeen välilehdellä efective permmissions käytvalitsemassa administrators ryhmän tähänkohtaan.
Owner välilehdellä käyt nakkaamassa admistrator ryhmän omistajaksi ja itsesi jos et kuulu kyseiseen ryhmään. Nyt voit painaa ok ja lisätä normaalisti käyttäjiä ja oikuksia kyseiseen kansioon.
