It's my hope, by returning to the recording studio, to be able to show the convergence of Islam with Western artistic tastes and values, those that Islam already played some part in developing prior to the European Renaissance. Islam has a lot to offer the modern world as well; there is much to learn and, hopefully, it'll encourage everyone to reconnect and see each other in a better intellectual and cultural light by appreciating what has been kept hidden for far too long.
"O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Lo! The noblest of you, in the sight of God, is the best in conduct. Lo! God is Knower, Aware." (Qur'an 49:13)
