The Death of Internet Marketing: Why this report…
Why this report? Good question…
Before we go there, let me address something you may be wondering. You may have noticed that I paid $1 to have someone you know refer this report to you. In fact, I paid about $2 in most cases. My intent is to get about 35,000 to 40,000 people to read the report.
… And no offer? No Up sell? No ‘One Time Offer’? Come on Mike, you mean to tell me you just wanted to spend over $50,000 to share this information?
Yes… (and no). The truth is, I would have liked to have done it at no cost to me. But, I am a student of my own work, and I used viral
marketing (and my own software) to get this report into your hands.
The residual effect is that I will have a new double-opt in list that will be part of a new focus of providing good information for 2007. Much
of this is exactly what inspired me to write this report that you will get to read about today.
I am also asking members to take a survey. This survey will help me to determine how I will make changes in my own business as well. I have not yet determined how (or if) I will share this data. I have not had the chance yet to ponder that.
But as I said, I have no hidden agenda. Other than to share an important message that I think needs to be given. I think you will find this to be one of the most interesting reads you have had this year.
And do not let it fool you that it is free… You, and those who read this, will see our industry in a new promising light. Those that do not read this will be left behind wondering why they are not seeing the success they worked for (or once had.)

The Death of Internet Marketing By Mike Filsaime
So let’s get started, shall we? Back to the question… Why this report?
The Death of Internet Marketing? Is it really dead or dying? Let me say this. To every door that closes, another door opens. So Internet Marketing is not dead. But it is dying. And I am referring to Internet Marketing to Internet Marketers for now. I will discuss where the future is going to allow for most profits to be made. But for now, let me address issues with the current state of Internet Marketing to Internet Marketers.
Why is it dying?
Many of the things that used to work are not as effective as they used to be, or are just plain dead. Internet Marketing (IM) is so new that it has yet to ‘right’ itself. So it goes through cycles and in the end, only the good will survive. The days of building 1,000 sites with the push of a button and making $20,000 per month with AdSense are gone.
And here lies one of the problems with IM today. The promise of getting RICH while being in your underwear in the beaches of The Cayman Islands, while money is spitting out into your wallet, and
yes… EVEN WHILE YOU SLEEP.
The truth is this, and many will not tell you. It Takes Work! But if you really enjoy it, it is not hard work. It is Fun work. But work none the less.
Here is another problem we face in IM.
