Toivottavasti ei. En usko että ovat aitoja.
Ottaen huomioon että suurin osa sarjan synnytyksistä on sellaisia joissa jotain menee jollain lailla vikaan tai on ongelmia, oikeiden synnytysten filmaaminen olisi todella vaarallista ja eettisestikin täysin mahdotonta.
Eivät edes naiset ole oikeasti raskaana, vaan heillä on valevatsat. Keisarileikkaus- ja synnytyskohtaukset tehdään kumisilla ruumiinosilla ja nukeilla.
Alla olevassa netistä löytyvässä tekstissä kerrotaan vähän miten sarjan kohtaukset ja nuket tehdään.

With its gritty storylines and explicit surgery, Bodies is being billed as the darkest medical drama ever to hit our screens. And judging by the show's prosthetics room, it's not an idle claim. Written by former doctor Jed Mercurio (Cardiac Arrest), and beginning this week on BBC3, the series is set in a northern English hospital's maternity unit. But beware, Emergency - Ward 10 it ain't.
The room where the prosthetics are made resembles a macabre scene from a horror film. Lifelike pregnant "bumps" are lined up on the table beside infants, from premature babies to newborns with the umbilical cords still attached.
Perhaps the most shocking sight is a prosthetic woman's abdomen, cut open in a caesarean section. "It's very tricky and technical to get it to look right," explains Davy Jones, who heads the team. "there are lots of different stages until you have a lifelike version ready to be painted."
Once the delivery scene is over, the prosthetic infant is replaced by a real baby, only a few months old. And for the actress playing the mother, there's a blancmange-like post-operative mould to wear, stuffed with an unusual mix of nylon tights and porridge!.
