1. On lepopäivä koittanut, käyn Herran huoneeseen. On Luoja päivän antanut juhlaksi luoduilleen. Kiitosta kannamme, kunnian annamme, vain sinä Jeesus, Luojamme saat ylistyksemme.
2. On lepopäivä koittanut, työviikko päättynyt. Uudista sielu uupunut, työn alla nääntynyt. Kiitosta kannamme, kunnian annamme, vain sinä Jeesus, Luojamme saat ylistyksemme.
3. On lepopäivä koittanut, tuo rauhan tullessaan. On hiljaisuutta tarjonnut kiireiseen maailmaan. Kiitosta kannamme, kunnian annamme, vain sinä Jeesus, Luojamme saat ylistyksemme.

On pyhää levon aikaa
1. On pyhää levon aikaa tää päivä sapatin. Se Eedenkodin maasta on muisto suloisin. Jo täällä heijastuksen saan siitä rauhasta, min Herra taiston jälkeen on meille antava.
2. Tään päivän Herra antoi jo paratiisissa. Kun Luojan töille kaikki siell’ lauloi kiitosta. Sä luomistöiden muisto ja lahja taivainen oot aina muuttumaton ja iankaikkinen.
3. Nyt vaikka synnin varjo sun verhoo valosi, saat sanan mukaan kerran sä loistaa kirkkaasti. Suo lepoasi pyhää mun täällä nauttia, mä kunnes levon parhaan saan Eedenkodissa.
Milloin on kirkossa vimeksi laulettu sapatti-ellen vai oliko se sapatti-eeden laulua?
