Such a problem may be caused by some 3rd party multimedia codecs installed on the same computer as Nokia PC Suite. When Nokia Multimedia Player opens, it loads all the installed multimedia codecs into the memory. If a loaded multimedia codec is not compatible with Nokia Multimedia Player, the error message appears.
To solve this problem, try to uninstall the 3rd party multimedia codecs installed on your PC one at a time. After having uninstalled one codec, retry to start Nokia Multimedia Player. If it doesn't start, uninstall the next codec. Repeat this until Nokia Multimedia Player starts. Then you can try to reinstall the multimedia codecs you previously uninstalled from the PC."
