What is the 'Teachers Group Economy'?
Since its inception in 1977 the Teachers Group has run a centrally directed economic system, controlled by a secret core group of highly motivated members known as the Tvind Economy.
This group directed by Amdi Petersen and Kirsten Larsen, has been more or less invisible to the rest of the world. It was exposed in the 2001 Danish Police report on Tvind, and continues to operate today. It now (2007) controls more than 200 companies and financial enterprises in 50 countries, worth an estimated $860 million.
There are several key offshore trusts that control cash flows. Commercial activity and investment now appears concentrated in property, landholdings, agriculture, timber, trade and the collection, trade and sale of used clothes.
A dossier on the TG Economy is in preparation.
