Huumekauppa on aina ollut liian houkutteleva keino hankkia rahaa erilaisille aatteille.
Britit tyydyttivät teenhimoaan kauppaamalla kiinalaisille oopiumia jo 1800-luvulla ja kävivät jopa sotia (mm. Boksari-kapina) taatakseen kaupan pyörimisen.
Kylmän sodan aikana KGB rahoitti länteen suuntautunutta huumekauppaa rappeuttaakseen lännen yhteiskunnan. CIA hankki Vietnamin sodan aikana varoja mustiin operaatioihinsa huumekaupoilla.
Miksei siis nykypäivänä tapahtuisi samaa Talebanien ja Al Qaidan toimesta?
