Moi!
I want to learn the finnish language. Courses with fixed times are impossible because of my work.
That's why I'm searching someone in Helsinki to teach me. Of course there will be a corresponding reward for the effort.
If you are interested, I would be pleased to get a mail to info (a) thd-events . com or a sms or call to 040 875 6837.
Or maybe anyone of you knows where I can apply to or different ways to learn?
Kiitoksia paljon!!!

What would You like to learn about Finalnd ?
Do You need it at work ?
Hi Waltari1986!
Use the translator here to translate "Mistä olet kotoisin?" into English !
http://translate.google.com/
"Oletko mistä kotoisin?" is not standard Finnish and that is the reason why the translator has trouble translating that sentence.
You can look for a Finnish teacher also on Finland Forum which is at :
http://www.finlandforum.org
I sometimes need Finnish at work. But in generall I'd like to speak to Finns in Finnish, and I want to stay here in Helsinki. For me it's self-evident to learn the language of the country I live.
Thank you very much!
A funny way to learn:
Go to a library and borrow finnish and english editions of comic strip albums. Many popular comics (such as Dilbert, Calvin and Hobbes, Tintin) are available in many both languages.
Paras tapa oppia kieltä on lukea lehtiä ja kuunnella radiota ja TVtä.
Ensiksi sinun pitää tietää mistä Suomessa puhutaan, sillä muuten et ei paljon kielenkään oppiminen auta ?
älkää nyt menkö halpaan. (Do not go into cheap)
Kaveri tarvitsee suomea työssään ja siten haluaa oppia että miten Suomessa eletään ! Mitä siinä voi olla väärin ?
You could watch finnish tv programmes and use sustitles. Soapseries like Kotikatu (thu 19.45) and Metsolat(tu 20.00)have subtitles, you can find them texttelevision but you must choose language/ kieli hollanti (dutch). Also many other programmes have subtitles.
Hi, i can teach you finnish anytime,i had finnished my level 4 course in Finnish language, and i know what are the secrets to learn specially for a Foriginer.Where do you live in Helsinki?
Minä voin opettaa Suomen kieltä vaikka asun Kanadassa. Esim tässä: Kokko kokoo koko kokon kokoon. Koko kokkoko ? Koko kokko kokoon. Ymmärsitkö kaiken ? OK. Olavi
Many foreigners say that suomi is the most diffycult language they have heard and learned. It takes atleast 5 years to speak and write it at school level !
