Our prayers have been answered. Denmark will soon have its own temple! The Copenhagen Temple open house will be held from Thursday, April 29th to Saturday, May 15th, 2004–except Sundays, May 2nd and May 9th. The dedication will be held on May 23, 2004, with four sessions.
Wonderful Copenhagen, Denmark, likely the mission that spiritually affected your life forever. Here in den lile land you received your foundation of God’s wonderful way of life. Our pioneer families gave their every dollar, some even their family, and nearly all parted with their friends for the divine truth that God lives and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is so beautifully true. The Angel Moroni will shine high–a beacon to all. The holy edifice will speak for itself once seen by visitors.
Over the years many of us have offered our assistance to the Danish church leaders in seeking ways to see the church move forward in Denmark In light of those offers the local church leaders in Denmark have asked for our assistance to raise money to assist them in announcing the open house. Their desire is to encourage as many non-members as possible to attend. While the church does have some funds through their Public Affairs Office to assist in such an effort, significantly greater amounts are needed to provide the publicity that is warranted for the temple open house. We are desirous of helping.
President Hinckley will be in Denmark for the dedication. Invitations are being extended to the Royal Family and government leaders to attend the open house. It is hoped that President Hinckley will also be able to meet with some of these dignitaries while he is in Denmark.
Your help is needed to assist the worthy Saints of Denmark We ask all former Danish missionaries and friends to help make the Danes aware of this Holy Temple with financial help in any way possible–cash, check, stock or bonds. Please contact five friends, business associates, family, etc. Maybe you would like to make this "Eternal Gift" of love as a family Christmas gift to the Holy Temple in Denmark. All contributions will be tax deductible and used to sound the trumpet by way of all media means in Denmark inviting every Dane to come and see this Holy Temple. It is important that we have the funds to Denmark by March 15, 2004, so they will have enough time to get the information printed and distributed.

Onko sinun mielestäsi rahan lahjoittaminen kirkolle väärin? Jos jollain on mitä lahjoittaa ja sen omasta halustaan tekee, niin mikäs siinä. Kymmenyksetkin ovat välttämätön resurssi kirkon ylläpitoon ja kasvattamiseen. Sitä paitsi rahan antaminen pois jalostaa luonnetta kummasti. Pystyisitkö sinä antamaan rahaa Jumalan tarkoituksiin?
Oletko muuten koskaan miettinyt, että miksi Vanhassa testamentissa uhrattiin niin paljon eläimiä? Siihen aikaa ihmisillä ei ollut mitään rahaa - omaisuus oli käyttöesineissä ja kotieläimissä. Lampaan uhraaminen Herralle oli siis sama kuin rahan lahjoittaminen.
Minä olen kyllä huono henkilö näistä asioista puhumaan, kun en ole kymmenyksiä maksanut aikoihin :(

kun niin lähellä on muitakin. Parempiakin rahareikiä löytyy. Mikäs siinä sen puoleen, jos kerran rahaa on heittää pois, niin onhan se sallittua.
Saapa nähdä milloin se Suomen okkulttikeskus valmistuu. Kuulostaa tuo ennen mainittu 2005 hiukkasen hyväuskoiselta.
Meille rahan käyttö ei ole suinkaan turha. Ajan mittaan säästämme huomattavia summia, kun ei tarvitse käydä Tukholman temppelissä saatikka Sveitsin temppelissä, jossa kävimme ennen Temppelin saamista Tukholmaan. Venäläisetkin säästävät matkakuluissa ja samoin virolaiset.
