Hello, I am a Finn living with an Asian spouse. We do not live in Finland but closer to Asia. I Would like to hear from, and possible make friends with any Asians living in Finland. No matter what nationality you are and where from, what age or gender, married or not. My intention is just to get to know about life in Finland from Asian point of view. That is because we may some day want to move to Finland with my wife. Would like to communicate in English. If you think you have something constructive to say, please reply to this topic or tell me address of forums, blogs etc where I could meet Finnish Asians. Private emails or facebook-friendship would be possible as well.

What are you talking about? Finnish Asians? My guess is that there are none only certain refugees and spouses of Finns. You are a Finn are you looking to justify to your wife that it is Ok to move to Finland and that there are others like her living in Finland? What is your reason ? From my experience having a Asian partner has been first talk about Finland, get travel brouchers of Finland and finally take a vacation to Finland with her without any talk about that "see how nice it is here" Repeat the above and perhaps eventually she would love to move to Finland......Do not forget Finns can be rude to foreign people depending what part of Finland you wish to live......... any way let's cfhat if you wish.........otherwise ....Good Luck

Finland forum, wow. Didn't know such place exists. Thank you for the information! I have read through several threads of discussion and got a better insight into life in Finland from a point of view of non-native residents. I'll go on reading.
