    Mikä on CITA?
    CITA on kansainvälinen ei-voittoa tavoittelematon järjestö, joka sijaitsee Brysselissä, Belgiassa. Se edustaa kaikkia eri järjestöjen ja sidosryhmien (hallitusten, yksityisen sektorin, erityinen tarkastus-keskukset, autotalli-based test keskusten ja testauslaitteita valmistajia), jotka jakavat yhteisen edun mukaista tietojenvaihtoa, kehittää parhaita käytänteitä ja luonnosta kansainvälisten standardien alalla maantiekulkuneuvo tarkastus.
    Sen työ keskittyy parantamaan liikenteen kestävyyttä ja erityisesti liikenneturvallisuutta ja ympäristönsuojelua.

    CITA on tunnustettu Euroopan unionin ja Yhdistyneiden Kansakuntien Euroopan talouskomission (erityisesti "World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations - WP 29) ja sen asiantuntemus ja katsastukset. CITA on tällä hetkellä noin 110 jäsentä maailmanlaajuisesti, jotka edustavat yli 50 maassa ja jotka kattavat yli 250 miljoonaa ajoneuvoa tarkastusta vuodessa.
