Cynics or conspiracy theorists might wonder if this relationship will provide a way for the B’s to circumvent the collective bargaining agreement as the team deals with a looming tight salary cap squeeze. The Bruins may be forced early this season to send a veteran like Michael Ryder ($4 million) to the AHL to stay cap compliant. The team then effectively couldn’t recall a player such as Ryder, since he’d be subject to re-entry waivers - meaning if he were claimed by another NHL organization, the B’s would have to pay half his salary.
But it’s no different for a player loaned to a team in Europe. A player dispatched to Finland would still have to pass through re-entry to come back.

että on ois yhtä hyödytöntä/hyödyllistä laittaa Ryder farmiin kuin Jypiin. Että eiköhän se siitä huhusta.

Eli se on ihan sama laittaako Ryderin farmiin vai Eurooppalaiseen joukkueeseen, koska kummastakin on re-entry palata back.
Eli tietenkin ennemmin Eurooppalaiseen huippu jengiin eli Jyppiin kun johonkin farmiin.

Huhu tai ei, Jyp tarvitsisi jonkun kovan ulkolaisen, kotimaisin voimin liigassa ei taida pelata kukaan muu?
Täytyy tosin hattua nostaa miten hyvin Jyp on pärjännyt ilman ulkolaisia, Kariya nyt oli jonkin pätkän viime kaudella, mutta eipä saanut ihmeitä aikaan.
Mitä esim. Lukko olisi ilman ulkomaan apuja, tai Kärpät, ei yhtään mitään.
ole niin että Ryderia ei laiteta farmiin, eikä Jyppiin. Sehän on ihan varma että joku sen waiverista poimisi kun tulisi takaisin Amerikkaan. Ja sitä Bruins ei halua, varsinkin kun joutuvat maksamaan puolet palkasta sen jälkeen. Ja jos se Eurooppaan haluaisi niin varmasti menisi Sveitsiin tai KHL:ään ennemmin kuin Jypiin, koska tuskin yhteistyösopimukset kahlitsevat niin paljon.
