Valentin Gureiev, general manager of Women’s Team Russia told the meeting of preparations plan for a period of up to 2014. In consideration of international schedules, the team will spend some eight weeks of training camps including some 20 international games this season (2010-2011) alone. Moreover, candidate players will increase their competitive experience by playing for their clubs – 30 matches in regular championship, plus 10 test games and exhibitions. Notwithstanding the above North American venture, to take effect in 2011-2012 season. In addition Russia will spend six to eight weeks for training camps and six to eight exhibitions in North America. As far as the Olympic season 2013-2014 is concerned Gureiev plans 180 days of camp work from June to February with 25 exhibitions while regular championship that season he suggested be postponed until after the Olympics.
