He made no attempt to maintain a Potemkin front of unity with Germany, going out of his way to stress points where they disagreed. For EU veterans, the spectacle was revolutionary.
Mrs Merkel was careful not to rise to the bait. She let the Dutch, Finnish, and Estonian leaders argue her case against eurobonds with vehemence.

Suhteellisesti vähän velkaantuneet Viro ja Suomi joutunevat poistumaan Euro-rahasta vähin äänin.
Saksan Merkel on melkeinpä jo hassutettu mukaan lähtemään Eurobondeihin takaajaksi ja mukaan.
Suomen ja Viron ei kannata tuohon lähteä. Tai ei siis *kannattaisi*.
On hullu sellainen valtio (=Suomi) , joka vapaaehtoisesti ottaa 80 miljardin euron edestä muoiden maiden velkoja Eurobondien kautta maksettavaksensa.
Viro saattaa vaikka tulla vielä järkiinsä, ja palailee omaan Kruunu-rahayksikköönsä.
Järkiintyykö Suomi missään vaiheessa? Vai mennäänko se Kataisen vetämällä linjalla, EU-ankkurin kanssa meren pohjaan kuin raato?
Samaa mieltä.
Kataiselle pitäisi kyllä tehdä jo perusteellinen mielentilatutkimus. Olli Rehn taas on jo maansa myynyt EU- huippuvirkaa vastaan.
