Is there any particular reason why drivers don't turn on the fog lights when it is foggy weather, or when it snows or rains and it gives the same effect on rear visibility as fog.
It makes huge difference: when you have the car in front of you which has fog lights on you can notice it from far away, while ones without foglights are moving like shadows and you spot them only when they are less than 50 meters or less from you

Why don't you get out of this site and write there where you can find other English-speaking people? Why pollute this Finnish site with English, especially since there are not so many of these.
But I do use fog lights whenever they are needed.

Tottakai sumuvaloja voi käyttää myös päivässä... itsekin käyttäisin jos ei laki sitä kieltäisi...
Niistä kun ei ole mitään haittaa, mutta ne saa auton näyttämään uudemmalta ja sporttisemmalta

Heh.Itsellä on tapana sytyttää takasumuvalo takana ajavalle etusumuvalopellelle,joka niitä käyttää olosuhteiden vastaisesti.Reakointia on ollu monenlaista,mm yksi ammattijakeluautokuski laittoi pitkät päälle,ilmeisesti vittuiluni meni perille,heh.
