I'd like to know from someone who understands the internet better than I, or knows something about internet safety how the following sites could be looked up to be verified, and what the deal is with a link like the first one leading to a much longer, different site (I assume it's not a hyperlink). I'd like to know this so a) I can know for sure or not that I did the right thing by bailing on following through, b) if it is a scam, I can put out a message to stop the person leading people to these sites. My story is listed below the links.

The second link's website seems to be the actual site you try to enter, but I couldn't find anything about it online by cutting out everything after the .com. The creepy thing is that the last link that asks for credit card info has changed in the hour since I first visited it. To be clear, my main reason for posting this is to get some explanation of how to verify a website is secure, and if there is a good way to check authenticity


I was chatting with someone who I thought I might have a some common sexual interests with, and after vetting her profile and reverse searching her pics, she asked me to join her on this website. It looked like any of the million pop-up ads for porn sites, and has a link to another page to start an account which asks for credit card info to verify an account and had a box at the bottom you could uncheck to avoid getting billed, which I was assured by her was legit. Everything about the ethos of this sites seemed bad, but my penis was convincing me that maybe the site was legit and it used this feature to screen out casual users, and get plenty of careless, horny users as well.
