Army secures villages and points in Lattakia’s northern countryside, eliminates terrorists in Hama

Army and Armed Forces units on Friday restored security and stability to a number of villages and established full control over a number of vantage points in Lattakia’s northern countryside, in addition to eliminating a number of terrorists in Hama province with the assistance of the Syrian Air Force.
Lattakia
A military source told SANA that army units restored security and stability to the villages of Haret Maz’aleh, Haret al-Tahoun, al-Qastal, and Heer Debbin in Lattakia’s northern countryside.
The source added that army units also established control over al-Qal’aa mountain and points 394, 445.5, 438.5, 417.5, 400, 500, 656.6, 499.5, 409.5, and 529.5 in the province’s northern countryside.
Hama
Army and Armed Forces units eliminated 37 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in the northwestern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA.
The source said the terrorists were eliminated while they were trying to sneak from Kafr Nabouda, al-Habbit, and Albana to Tal al-Sakhr, al-Hamamiyat, al-Maghir, and Bridej.
The source also said that the Syrian Air Force eliminated 20 terrorists from ISIS in Abu Dali, Suha, Uqairibat, Jana al-Ulbawi, Qastal al-Westani, and Jub al-Rihan in Hama’s eastern countryside.

Syrian Army Encircles Hundreds of Militants Northeast of Lattakia

The Syrian Army has encircled a large number of terrorists in the key town of Kabani in the Northeastern part of Lattakia, leaving them with only one way out.
The Syrian soldiers backed by the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), the National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Syrian Marines imposed full control over Hill 1154 at the Southwestern perimeter of Kabani after a violent battle with al-Nusra Front, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and the Free Syrian Army’s “1st Coastal Brigade” and “Al-Ghaab Hawks Brigade”.
As a result of their success at Hill 1154 inside Jabal al-Akrad (Kurds Mountain), the Syrian Armed Forces were able to advance on Kabani from three different direction, leaving the extremists with only one outlet to retreat from this strategic town.
The military strategy used by the Syrian Armed Forces at Kabani is similar to that of their previous battles at Ghammam, Salma, Kinsibba, and Al-Rabi’ah, meaning they will surround the enemy combatants and leave only one road for the latter to use in order to retreat from the fight.
Reports said on Saturday that the terrorist groups continued to withdraw forces from more positions in the Northeastern part of the costal province of Lattakia near the border with Idlib province after a large-scale offensive of the Syrian Army and allies in the region.
The Syrian government forces stormed the militant strongholds in the Mount 1154 near Kabani and seized full control over the mount in a rapid battle with the terrorists; FNA reported.

Sotilaslähteet ilmoittivat hetki sitten Syyrian armeija aloittaneen yhdessä liittolaistensa kanssa tuoreen hyökkäyksen lännen perustamien ja tukemien ISIS-terroristien puolustuslinjoja vastaan lähellä Palmyran kaupunkia Homs:n maakunnan itäosassa.
Syyrian sotilaat tiiviissä yhteistyössä panssarivaunujen ja ilmavoimien kanssa hyökkäävät voimakkaasti lännen perustamien ja tukemien ISIS-terroristien hallussa olevia linnoituksia vastaan Palmyrassa.
Vallatessaan terroristien linnoitukset,Syyrian armeija tulee täysin hallitsemaan Jabal Qassounia.
Sotilasraportit kertovat Syyrian ilmavoimien raskaasti murjovan/möyhentävän Takfiri-terroristien rotankoloja Mahasan kaupungissa eteläisessä Quaryataynissa.
Military sources announced minutes ago that the Syrian Army and its allies have launched a fresh round of offensives against the ISIL lines of defense near the city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in the Eastern part of Homs province.
"The Syrian soldiers in close coordination with the 67th Brigade of the 18th Tank Division, Liwa Imam Al-‘Ali and the Desert Hawks Brigade launched a powerful assault on the Palmyra Castle (Qal’at Tadmur) that is currently under the control of the ISIL," the sources said.

"The Syrian Armed Forces are storming the Western perimeter of this ancient fortress after launching thermobaric TOW missiles to weaken ISIL defense ability, they added. "The thermobaric TOW missiles used by the Syrian Armed Forces are specifically used at the Palmyra front because they cause little-to-no damage to the buildings and ancient sites that are filled with ISIL terrorists," the sources pointed out.

"If the Syrian Armed Forces are able to seize the Palmyra Castle, they will be in full control of Jabal Qassoun; this mountaintop overlooks the Western district of Palmyra and gives the government forces a geographic advantage near the Palmyra National Hospital," the sources added.

Reports said on Saturday that the Syrian air force, in incessant operations, delivered heavy blows to the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, reducing their bases to rubble around and in the two key cities of Palmyra and Quaryatayn in Homs province.

The Syrian warplanes severely pounded ISIL hideouts and center points in Quaryatayn and Palmyra and their nearby areas, destroying their structures and fortifications.

The Syrian army air force also destroyed ISIL positions in its aerial operations over the town of Mahasa, South of Quaryatayn.
