Raqqa‬ - Army units established control over new areas in the western countryside of Raqqa after eliminating the last ‪#‎ISIS‬ gatherings in the area and destroying tens of its vehicles, according to a military source.
The source added that army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, established control over al-Rasafa crossroads, the strategic triangle, the oil pumping station and al-Tabka electricity station.
The source pointed out that the army units have developed their operations on more than one axis in the area and cut off ISIS supply routes after destroying tens of heavy-equipped vehicles and killing large numbers of ISIS members.
Syrian Army, NDF Continue to Advance against ISIL in Energy-Rich Regions
(FNA)- The Syrian Army troops and National Defense Forces (NDF) continued to hit ISIL's strongholds in the oil and gas-rich regions of Eastern Homs and restore security to more territories there.
The Syrian government force, backed up by the heavy shelling of artillery units, stormed the Takfiri terrorists' positions East of Palmyra (Tadmur) and approached more then ever to the Arak oilfield.
The artillery units also shelled surrounding of T-3 oil pump station near al-Talaleh and al-Sukhnah, which ended in the killing or wounding of at least 55 militants.
The Syrian army also hit the ISIL lines of defense hard near al-Kaziyeh region and its farms and reinvigorated the security of Eastern countryside of Tadmur.
The Syrian government forces also capture three more key areas along Tadmur-Arak road near the Easter silos.
Earlier this week, the Syrian Army troops and NDF carried out a fresh round of anti-ISIL offensives in Northeastern Homs and forced the Takfiri group to retreat from more key heights.
The Syrian pro-government forces hit the ISIL strongholds hard and captured Tal Sawwan hilltop and several other heights around it after conducting a cleansing operation in Northeast Homs.
With Tal Sawwan under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces will now concentrate their efforts at al-Sha’er mountain.

Syyrian armeijan eliittiyksikkö Tiikerijoukot komentajansa Rajab Al-Yunesin johtama väijytti lännen perustamien ja tukemien ISIS-terroristien salakuljettajat valtaamalla useita ajoneuvoja ja nitistämällä joukon aseistettuja terroristeja sekä räjäytti yhden polttoainetankin.
A unit of Syrian Army’s elite Tiger Forces, led by officer Rajab Al-Yunes, ambushed ISIS smugglers east of Salamiyah near the town of Wadi Al-Otheib. The smugglers were attempting to deliver fuel, ammunition, detonation fuses, and a French-made mine detector device, all of which were seized by the Tiger Forces. The Tiger Forces unit also captured several vehicles, killed a number of armed smugglers, and blew up one fuel tank before it could reach its intended destination.

Battlefield sources announced on Saturday that the Syrian army's anti-militancy operation in Northern Homs left tens of al-Nusra Front's terrorists dead or wounded.
"The Syrian army men surrounded a group of al-Nusra fighters near the village of Ein al-Hossein and, in a rapid attack, killed or wounded most of them," the sources said, adding, "The Syrian army's operation ended the terrorist groups' rule over the nearby regions of Ein al-Hossein."

"A mother told her four-year daughter to go home and she refused and then the mother told her unintentionally 'go home and I swear to God that I will behead you if you don’t' and one of the ISIS members heard this and told the mother since you swore to God you should behead her but the mother strongly opposed," A Syrian women who has recently escaped from Raqqa said.
"But they beheaded the little girl and soaked her mother's hands in her daughter's blood," she added.
The woman who called for anonymity also explained how the ISIS has filled Tal Abyaz street to al-Naeem square in Raqqa with heads of slaughtered people to create horror among the people and then mutilated the body of a young man who refused to join the terrorist group and then hung his head.
"They rape women, take children to war, loot houses and threaten people in Raqqa with beheadings if they don’t agree with their daughters' marriage with the ISIS members," she added.
The crime was revealed after an earlier report by the British Mirror newspaper last year that the ISIS militants fed a desperate mum the mutilated remains of her son - after telling her it was cooked meat and rice, it was claimed today.
The son had been captured and taken prisoner by the ISIS militants in Mosul, Iraq.
The worried mum then bravely visited the terror group's headquarters in a bid to speak to her loved one.
ISIS fighters told the mum she should eat before seeing her son because she had travelled a long way.
However, after giving the mother cooked meat, rice and soup, she was horrified to be told she had just eaten her son, FNA reported.

Tal Ash'heib region was the scene fierce clashes between the Syrian government forces and the ISIS terrorists.
The ISIS suffered a heavy death toll and its military equipment sustained major damage in the rapid attacks of the army, FNA reported.

Battlefield sources announced on Wednesday that at least 70 members of the ISIL terrorist group were killed and many more were wounded in a tough battle with the Syrian Army troops in Southern Aleppo.
"The Syrian army men, who had tactically retreated from the small towns of Zaytoun and al-Khalasa in the morning, carried out a rapid counter-attack and beat the terrorists back from the battlefield, killing at least 70 of them," the sources said.

"The Syrian fighter jets and artillery units played a key role in the Syrian soldiers' rapid advances in Zaytoun and al-Khalasa regions," the sources added.

"Zaytoun and al-Khalasa are under the full control of the Syrian government forces," they underlined.

Earlier reports said that the Syrian army fended off an attempt by the Takfiri terrorists to prevail over two strategic towns in the Southern part of Aleppo province, killing several militants, including a senior al-Nusra Front commander, in heavy clashes.

"The Jeish al-Fatah (Army of Conquest), Al-Nusra Front and Turkistani movement terrorists tried to open their way into Zaytoun and al-Khalasa towns, but they were pushed back in a swift reaction of the Syrian forces," battlefield sources said.

The terrorist groups attacked the Syrian army's military positions from nearby al-Zarbeh town, but they were pushed back.

A notorious al-Nusra Front commander named Ammar al-Khaled was killed in the Syrian army's offensive.

The Syrian armed forces, backed up by Russian Fighter jets, have repelled a terrorist offensive near the city of Aleppo, killing over 800 militants and destroying 14 tanks.
“The Syrian army troops and Russian air force repelled a massive militant attack today. More than 800 militants were killed, and 14 tanks, 10 infantry fighting vehicles, and more than 60 technical vehicles with mounted weapons were destroyed,” Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoy said on Monday, Sputnik reported.
Rudskoy noted that militants continued to pull reserves from other areas in an effort to undermine the government troops' resolve, and prevent the local population’s escape from the combat zone in an effort to use them as human shield.
“Thus, the terrorists executed four people attempting to exit through the humanitarian corridors yesterday in the Eastern part of Aleppo,” he said.
Rudskoy noted that, unlike the US-led anti-ISIL coalition active near Manbij, Russian aircraft do their utmost to avoid collateral civilian damage by not targeting populated areas within city limits.
“The Russian Aerospace Force actively supports government troops in repelling enemy attacks, carrying out selective strikes on militant positions,” he told reporters; FNA reported

Presidentti Assadille uskolliset joukot ottivat täysin hallintaansa Bani Zeidin ja Al-Lairamounin teollisuusalueet ja katkaisivat terroristien huoltoreitit Aleppon kaupungin itäosassa.
More terrorists laid down their arms and turned themselves in to the Syrian Army troops and poplar forces in the besieged city of Aleppo, military sources said.
"Terrorists in Eastern part of Aleppo are hopeless. They are trapped in the Syrian army's circle of forces and have no way out. They are calling for government's pardon in groups," the sources said.
Also on Thursday, a large number of terrorists laid down arms and surrendered to Syrian army in Aleppo province.
"Scores of Takfiri militants laid down arms and turned themselves in to the Syrian army in Bani Zeid and al-Lairamoun to be pardoned," a battlefield source said.
"The move by the terrorists in Aleppo province came after army troops put the militants to rout in Bani Zeid and al-Lairamoun and completed the siege of Aleppo city in the East," the source added.
Forces loyal to President Assad took full control of Bani Zeid on Thursday. They also managed to recapture all building blocks, firms and factories in al-Lairamoun industrial zone in Northern Aleppo province.
The Syria army and popular forces had also managed to cut off all the supply lines and passages used by the terrorists to move from the North to the Eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo city on Wednesday, FNA reported.
