Tuossa pitäisi nyt äkkiä tehdä uusi ratkaisu. Rekka- ja muuliikenne voitaisiin johtaa Etelä-Englannin satamiin muualta Ranskasta. Satamia voisi vaihdella. Tunneliputki pitäisi pistää kiinni, se on väärä tapa kuljettaa, kallis ja 100 miljoonaa Afrikan mantereen asukasta yrittää sinne. Kiinteä yhteys ei toimi.
