I have read the history of Finland, and is a magnificent country with a education, know-how,hard work and honesty has brought the land among the democracies.
We have same here in Germany and we had old times currency "markka" too.
We have in Germany kaleidoscopic range of people from ethnic backgrounds and it has reasons from history and what is question of nationalism that matter i learn and written in my country that no extreme forms of nationalism is not welcome to Germany,never and i deeply hope it.I often heard from my Finns friends that Germany has made it clear transparent accounts with the past.Thank you,Yes and that is truth.Every nation must honestly recognize mistakes in the past and focused on all crimes against individuals and masses, and the brutality and bloodshed done and the only and only then can the healing begin which permeates all dimensions of society and after that can built equal relations with other countries.I read about civil war in Finland and second war world and i notice that something after 70-100 years truth is coming day light in your country little by little.Well its okay that something comes out but most important is be open and honest.Not arguee that "they were wrong" and bad but "we were good". History must and have to figure out honestly, openly, and to recognize the reality that bad things had happened and does not seek to cover up and forget about them.Eastern countries are very proud and mother is best and father is soldier who protect family.West part of Europe is very different and we have no military development or traditional enthusiasm and intoxicating.We just try to survive to built our nation to be open,democracy and diplomatic and have friends with all and Russia too.We have here Germany lot of Russians and i know them and they are educated,smart,humorous and like party.Nothing bad to say Russians.But yes,war Ukraine is far away from good and Russia must respect International laws.
We know in Germany that same time taking Crimea was violation against peace but we know that historically Crimea was part of Soviet Union and its very strategic area for Russia and port of Navy.Okay, but things go well if we believe Europe and believe our values.The Refugee Problems appear in Germany and I have seen here in Finland.
Social problems and poverty has been, for example, in the Middle East and Africa
but because a lot of these countries have been dictatorships, so there was tough "border control".After the fall and roll of the governments of order, Border control broke down and know we must be honest and realistic that refugee problem can rise
But we must carefully control that we not let us roll to negative nationalism.
