As we all know Tesla runs heavily on minus in pure manufacturing/selling EV:s ( electric vehicles). No secrets around that they need to find financially healthy Cooperation partner. It's also well known fact that traditional Car Manufacturing industry is in EV business mostly For Image. They lack both Electrical Engineering skills&tradition, are depending on after sales Service income and are involved in deep environmental policy scandals further taking energy from leadership team. Nokia GSM technology once upon time was largely based in Kari Kairamo's personal vision of Mobile Phone Development Against Member of Boards and resulted in Mr Kairamo's suicide ahead of 'getting fired as CEO'. So basically Traditional Car Industry would need Kairamo-Characters in order to develope something truly new and obviously number of these kind of managers, ready to 'sheppuko'-at sunrise, is limited. So it'll take time with Car Industry to come up Something truly "New".
For these reasons and in hope that in our Home Country Finland still somebody is ready for following Nr Kairamo's footprints we still have possibility to Break Through in the Next Generation phase of Car Industry; the autonomous vehicles, which are a Combination of Legislation & Safety Studies & New Thinking-Behavior & And As A Minor Part The Pure Technology of Self Driving-Autonomous Vehicles. One or two Mr Kairamo-2018 is just needed.
Nordic people have passed the Era to be workers, we are convenient and lazy, old and sick. So there's no way that in coming 10-15 years of dynamic development of Automation on all levels in society that we put any effort on educating workers of our few citizens. The Better model is Everybody educates ( Life long continuos process) and Finnish people become managers in different levels for Integration phase of country, i.e healthy & young workers picks up with Netherlands policy 'A Good Worker-Welcome to Finland-can you start tomorrow? '. Native Finnish people are qualified for "Kansalalaispalkka" on all levels during process of Automation of Society in all levels. Shortly my opinion is that the Self Driving, Autonomous Vehicle Systems ( skip this discussion of Tesla here, Tesla there- Concentrate directly to Next Phase-Start Today) is more legislation-behaviour-process than pure Technological Development. For this reason Finland has still "A Pole Position" in this Race of Future Vehicle Systems. The Model is model of success " Cooperation of Silicon Valley & Asian Manufacturing of past 3 decades"
So with which country in Asia Finland would make this Deal? Vietnam? Anybody with suggestions?
