Alon Goldenberg,28 lived on Dizengoff in Tel Aviv. His long braided

Tel Aviv. He had worked in the building trade and recently was involved
with a village for kids in Netzanim. He and his father,Shlomo, were known in
earlier years as the 'fishermen' of Old Jaffa. His father raised Alon in
his childhood waking him each morning in the summer vacations to go fishing
off the Jaffa coast. Alon was on his way to Nazareth on that 5 30AM bus
yesterday. Today,Alon's parents and brother will bury Alon near Old
Jaffa,close to the fishing area.
Manot Marato,67,an Ethiopian immigrant was enroute to menachem avel(pay
condolences) to his relative,Tagnia Marato,Z"L,84,who was killed two weeks
ago in the terrorist attack in Afula. He left his retirement hotel in
Holon. Manot's daughter did not go where her elderly father was heading
yesterday morning. She did not know that his last mitzvah of a condolence
call to a family victim of terror would result in his funeral today. He
walked across the Ethiopian desert 11years ago to Israel. Now,the relatives
who buried the elderly uncle,Tagnia, two weeks ago from terror, are returning
to bury the 67 year old nephew,Manot for his burial. They walked from
Ethiopia to be murdered in these days of cease and fire.
Aharon Revivo,19,had just received a short vacation from the IDF. He was on
his way home to Afula on the bus. Aharon had spoken to his younger brother
at 7AM to tell him that he would be home for Pesach from the IDF. He was
born in Eilat and had moved with his mother and siblings to Afula 7years
ago. His father,Roni, was a security guard at the Eilat airport. Today
Aharon will be buried in Eilat as the family returns together to his
birthplace for his deathplace.
Shimon Edri,20,was on his way to his IDF base in Nazareth. He was in his
third and final year of IDF service. He had served in Gaza area before
being transferred to Nazareth. The Pardes Chana funeral last night had a
father and Shimon's brother,Liran,12,saying kaddish together at the grave of
Shimon. Liran had just started putting on his tefilin for his post Passover
barmitzvah. Liran,12, was the one at home when the IDF clergy arrived to
knock on the door and inform the family of the death of the soldier.
Michael Altfiro,20,was on his way to the same IDF base in Nazareth as
Shimon. They were both from Pardes Chana He had been up late the night
before watching soccer as Liverpool was his favorite team. He and his
father, Alex, were spending time in their mutual enjoyment of soccer
matches. At 6 00AM,Alex,the Abba, dropped off his son Michael at the bus
stop to catch the 823 bus to Nazareth. Michael's parents had run to the
hospital and saw their son for the last time, just as the hospital chaplain
was covering Michael's body while reciting Shema for the dead. Michael and
family had immigrated from Kishniev 12 years ago to die on a bus of terror.
Mayer Fachima,41,was serving his reserve duty yesterday. He had been in the
IDF having seen action in Lebanon and was stationed in the Golan Heights.
Mayer was on his way to the Afula bus station to get to his base from his
home in Hadera. Mayer told his wife,Etty, that she should not go out with
the kids on their first day of vacation yesterday to the malls. Mayer told
her that it was dangerous on the streets of Hadera. Etty and Mayer were the
proud parents of Natali,14,Ortal,9,and their new born of two years, Lidor.
Mayer had promised his family a tiyul on Sunday, before Pesach, when he was
off from the IDF. On Sunday, the family will not be able to do a tiyul as
they sit shiva.
-----------
The terrorist was chewing gum and smiling in the last seconds before he
murdered the above dead yesterday.
The Israeli Arabs from the neighboring village where the bus had exploded
stood there laughing and refusing to help in the first few minutes of the
terror according to Minister of Health Nissim Dahan in today's media.
The Arabs in JENIN took to the streets and rejoiced, with music and gunshots
in the air. General Zinni gave his usual "Arafat Stop the Terror" sound
byte. VP Cheney may meet with Arafat and present him with the gift wrapped
package on Monday in Cairo as a reward for terror. Israel did all that
Uncle Sam told them to do.
Arik Sharon now has less Jews to worry about in his administration of death
as he keeps conceding and burying while the Arabs dance and chew gum.
